Testing was done with the following: Skilled fighter (only skill given), full plate (mail+breastplate+helm+greaves+high boots+gauntlets) with a halberd.
Let me know if I'm misreading the data or if the way material properties works has changed in the Steam version, though! And feel free to reach out to me if there's anything I can help with, here - I love the mod otherwise, and this oughta be an easy fix.
Khazad Bronze has shear values of 70k yield, 140k fracture, 500 strain at yield, and impact values of 110k yield, 220k fracture, and 1600 strain at yield.
Vanilla Bronze, meanwhile, has shear values of 172k yield, 241k fracture, and 420 strain at yield, and impact values of 602k yield, 843k fracture, and 523 yield.
Casari Steel, meanwhile, has shear values of 152k yield, 250k fracture, and 500 strain at yield, and impact values of 121k yield, 260k fracture, and 1,400 strain at yield.
Vanilla steel has shear values of 430k yield, 720k fracture, and 556 strain at yield, and impact values of 1,505k yield, 2,520k fracture, and 940 strain at yield.
Any plans on making other sorts of fantasy alloys that require either complicated production chains or specific and harder to acquire resources?
also i love the idea of a slightly better alloy than steel, and Casari Steel gives a nice use for the 'useless' nickel, i just dont dig the color.. maybe a darker bluesh tint would looks better? anyway, nice job mans!
