OpenUI incorporates menu elements and systems added by OpenStarbound. Using this mod in vanilla Starbound will result in menu jank.

Unfortunately, a few lua scripts needed to be overwritten in order to get some menus to look the way that I wanted. Future updates to OpenStarbound may end up breaking this mod as a result so please keep that in mind.

/ ABOUT /

OpenUI makes various changes to Starbound's interface for a more unified, vanilla look. This is for people who prefer the default style, but want a bit more polish. Menus, tooltips and other on-screen elements should hopefully feel better to use and look at now.

- Green cursor and crosshair (for better visibility)
- Faster and more snappy pickup notifications
- Removed the shine overlay from all menus
- New title screen buttons

100% compatible with mods that only change the inventory. They will override the inventory changes made by this mod.

Should not be used with other mods that overhaul the visual theme of menus.

I like this, though is it possible to add compatibility with arcana itself? The crafting menu is a bit bugged out making it hard to read the ingredients count.

the base game's UI's should've looked like this! I just updated Show Item Names to check if this mod already adds the item ID label before attempting to swap the rarity label with the ID label (SIN works that way as to avoid needing to replace tooltip sprites)

Would you be willing to include built-in support for Betabound's changes to the tech menu? It also adds an unequip tech button, along with a download and (on its Github dev branch) a bind button. If Patman's Unequip and Remove tech mod is installed, Betabound replaces its unequip button with its own (since it needs to work with Betabound's suit techs). Moving its unequip button to where Patman's goes and then shifting the download and bind buttons to the left would work great.
