This is an updated version of the original mod made by toryscum4. I'm new to modding so I may have made mistakes doing this update, any feedback or bug report will be kindly appreciated

Original Description of the mod:

This mod makes the laws added by Laws+ compatible with the Better Politics Mod.

BPM changes the ideologies of Interest Groups, Leaders, and Movements, which all leave the additions from Laws+ unable to be enacted. This mod fixes that.

Some laws have been tweaked/removed to fix conflicting laws (Weighted Universal Voting and No Army), and to add compatibility to the Political Rigidity system, and for general uniformity between the two mods.Laws such as State Capitalism, Private Security System, Gendarmerie, etc. have also been modified to work with the cabinet system added by BPM.

This mod also fixes a small bug with BPM, where activating Corporate State will lock you out of changing your Governance Principles entirely. (BPM recently removed the Corporate State law but it should still work if another mod overrides this removal.)

(The mod does not change any localisation files so translation is not necessary. I appreciate the offers though!)

Yep, adding "000_lp" in the name for every event file solves the issue. Keep in mind not every vanilla event file in BPM has an equivalent in Laws+, so you can probably delete some.

Okay, I made sure to get the latest version of this mod and the update didn't end up fixing the issue. Could you try matching the files to what they are named in Laws+(which is how I fixed it)?

it was in the correct order, and I was able to fix it myself by adding 000_lp_liberalism.txt into the folder of this mod and just copied what BPM has for their liberalism event.

usually with BPM, it has choices to give IGs like the Aristocrats the "Authoritarian Democrat" ideology, and replace Moderate Liberal's ideology to "Radical Democrat". Which doesn't appear from the conflict.

The conflicts won't change the gameplay much though, just that it removes some flavour.

#Gaffate, I've updated the mod to support vanilla events modified, but looking at the code I didn't see any problem with the ideologies (also while playing australia with the liberal path a few day ago, I could do the path without any problem)

be sure to load the mods in the right order and remember that BPM events will most likely overwrite laws + events and ideologies

and fyi the version should be "1.9.*" not "1.9.x"

vanilla events that are modified by both laws+ and bpm conflicts with eachother. For example liberalism.1 in BPM is supposed to give ideologies for certain IGs but since it's overwritten with the laws+ implementation, it doesn't properly give the ideologies.
