If you think it's difficult, I recommend activating the debug hotkeys with "set_setting debug_hotkeys_enabled 1" and using F5 and F9 for quicksave/load

It's been a day and I feel I've been too harsh with this mod. To be fair, it makes you really angry - but looking back, it's certainly more memorable than many of the mods in the workshop exactly because of that.

I'm changing my verdict to actually like a 7/10. It's fun and a true test of skill with quicksaves. (Without quicksaves, I still give this a negative recommendation. Really, turn on quicksaves if you even download this at all. Permadeath is not a good choice for a mod this unfair.)

This mod has a lot of potential. The vertical timed sequences are really interesting and challenging, and the squishy low hp human makes it a big challenge. The main issue is that the softlock death screen is really, REALLY annoying. It becomes a game less about skill and more about patience - lots and lots of mental calm and patience. Quicksaves make it a lot better and fix many the rng issues, but not enough.

Worst part is there is a LOT, and I mean a LOT of little "gotcha"s meant to make you lose. (Surprise enemies, enemies that get up again after being shot, an elevator that goes back down and kills you if you don't exit fast, and lots and lots of hidden objects that block your path and delay you.) I've made the effort and got all the way to the end. With quicksaves, it's a solid 5/10. WIthout them? I wish I could give negative stars.

Veredict: It's supremely annoying and uneccesarily difficult with quicksaves, let alone with the "intended" softlock death.

please help im stuck in the section with the mechs (where you have to face two while in a mech yourself) i killed everyone and now im stuck there with nowere to go

first of all, please do something with the death scene, i wasted like 5 minutes for something to happen.
While i havent gone farther then section on 4th picture, i imagine going through this complex as carrion would be really fun, and atleast unique because there is zero long vertical sections in base game.

-i don't know how possible this one would be but make the pathing for Civilian's that are tied to a lock stay in the general room they're assigned to, had a few instances where one civilian would run off and after i would kill them incidentally softlock myself because it closes a door that floods the room i'm supposed to go to. this causes me and probably others to play hide and seek with one npc praying they didn't fall in a pit and get stuck in an unreachable angle becasue if you try shooting them you either get locked out or you get killed by the door (this happened to me 4 times)
but please do consider what i said as i can see that this mod has potential it's just not fun to play currently
