Description
When the skies themselves conspire, no dam can save you. This expansion mod for Moddable Weather introduces two new hazardous weather types:

Skyblight

Think you're safe with your massive reservoir that withstands the worst droughts? Now the air itself will turn against you: toxic pollen will slowly contaminate all water, bypassing traditional defenses.

* Water in storages is safe, as beavers can cover them.
* Running water is generally safer, but it becomes contaminated the farther it gets from the source.
* Default setting: starts at cycle 7, with stats similar to Badtide but at half the chance of occurrence.
* You can adjust the strength of the pollution (%/game tick): Each game tick (0.6s), a part of water is made into badwater. For example, at default 0.1%, your reservoir without any new fresh water in will become 100% contaminated after 1000 ticks / 600s (about one and a half game day).

Badrain
If Skyblight isn't challenging enough, enable Badrain. It's the same as Skyblight with additional challenges:
* Limit Moisture Range: your land can only carry moisture to a much smaller range. Default: On at 3 (game default 16).
* Contaminate Land: the land will be contaminated every now and then. Default: Off. You should tweak around the number a lot.
* Default: starts at cycle 10, a quarter of the chance of Badtide for happening.
* It uses the same Skyblight's Strength setting.

v7.0.5: Should work with Sep 17th update.
v7.0.4: The Skyblight Strength setting unit is now % instead of ‰. You can also set it to smaller number by using decimal. The default value is set to 0.1% (5 times slower than previous default settings).
v7.0.3: Fixed Limit Moisture sometimes does not work as intended. Thanks Akinare for helping identifying the problem.
v7.0.2: You can now choose effects of Badrain (Limit Moisture and/or Contaminate Land). Default settings are the same as before so you should not be affected without changing settings.
v7.0.1: Updated Badrain effect. Badrain is now enabled by default in the settings.

Yes those are all suggested on Discord and all possible, I am just a bit busy with other ideas for now and can't implement them yet.

If you can change plant grow speed and plant death by contamination and dry speed, I can give you a shit ton more suggestions.
.
Its easy to be prepared for 1 or 2 things, but you cant be fully prepared to everything.

(no matter how hard the game is, once you store enough water, you are "safe".)
Question... can you change evaporation Rate, food and water consumption during the weathers?
Because if you can, one suggestion I would make is to create a very harsh draught, water evaporate faster, beavers consume more water and walk slower because of the heat (global speed debuff if possible).
Maybe some winter ideas too, everyone works slower and bots require more fuel/energy to run, chance of broken teeth multiplied by 10, because of frozen trees.
Acid Rain... Reduces the lifespan of bots and randomly gives beavers injuries or a bit of contamination.
Insect swarm, food consumption increases by 5 times.
.
And to increase even more the dificulty, after some time, you get different disaster simultaneasly or back to back.

Wow that's super interesting... This is what I have: https://imgur.com/NYvEsBL for some reason, it's actually working (for the middle ones), but the left ones retain all their 16 range. I wonder what causes it... Will investigate, thanks for the save!

Here is my test picture https://imgur.com/a/5go2eWx and save https://drive.google.com/file/d/17BWv8tHYPk8VArb7Lti3w414l9ixhwJq/view?usp=sharing (but seems that the contamination of source cannot be saved so all is 0)
I have no idea how this happened, sorry...

that's so strange, could you send me the save (here or maybe on Discord)? Wonder if any other mod is modifying the range, maybe Configurable Irrigation?
Akinare 4 Aug @ 6:04am
@Luke I have tested it many times, but no matter how much I set the Moisture Range, even to 0, my 3x3 pool (one water source, only one side of pool as an outlet, water contamination ≤ 2%) still has a Moisture Range of 16, from the beginning to the end of Badrain : (

And yes if you can produce fresh water in other way (either store in storage, or filter using other mods like Pump Filter or Alternative Recipes), it's a way to survive as well.
