Description
FDG-92 by Whack
FDG-92 is a light frigate and interceptor. Capable of going 55 Knots, this is the perfect ship to track down and hut targets at sea, or just escort your fleet. The frigate sports 2 heavy artillery cannons and a double walled hull, while also holding two RHIBs and a hangar, this ship is a pleasant combo of Sport and Dangerous. Designed for a smaller crew, this ships principal design was to hunt flag ships, provide escorts, and offer special mission support. The ship is loaded with weapons, and countermeasures, and can probably outrun most ships on the sea, as usual my ships are an assault on your computer so I do apologize, but it does look cool!!

The Frigate features two RHIB's. The RHIB boats are very very small, they are not stable and you will flip and die :)
On the bright side there is also a hangar to pick up your flipped boat. The hangar is not huge, its not tiny. I have a link below to my Little helion helicopter in which the hangar can store two of. I am sure there are other helicopters that work but you will have to test them out.

OPERATION
Engine Startup
There are 3 keys located in the bridge, outlined in Yellow. -Turn on Key Labeled "Engine ON/OFF" -Turn on Key Labeled "Engine Pumps"
Weapons Operations
There is a "Weapons Operator" Seat that can be found in the bridge. - Turn on Switch Labeled "Targeting System Power" - Turn on Switch Labeled "Weapon Turret System Power" - WASD can be used with UP and Down to control the camera - This screen will track targets and control ALL guns. - More info can be found here Targeting System IFF identification friendly / foe - If you want your own creations to work with the ship's built in IFF it is simple to add. - Add a laser beacon to your vehicle (infared) on channel 121, where it is most visibile.

REMOTE CONTROLS
This ship relies on hand held remote controls for many systems A green light with a number will show you what you have connected to Channel 4 Helicopter Pad Fire Cannon Controls

Do you have any specific recommendations for helicopters to use for this?

It has noise makers but that’s about it. This ship is supposed to be more of a gun truck like an old battleship. Obviously a “modern” frigate would have more but I was pushing the game already so I decided no torps anti sub stuff!

Maybe add more high tech features but so far everything is a beast and absolutely perfect.

Oh, and one more lil thing, if I’m not mistaken, when you press the sonar trap launch button for the second time, some kind of glitch occurs and the trap doesn’t fire as intended.

So, uh, overall a good ship, BUT there are a few problems. (Room for improvement?) The sonar simply does not work (in any mode) unless infinite power is turned on.The engines in reverse mode constantly (autonomously) change gear to forward, which is why the ship cannot reach full reverse speed. This is noticeable on the captain's HUD. The heavy autocannons (which are hidden in the middle of the ship) are not stabilized when firing for some reason, which is why they have terrible accuracy. They are constantly thrown up and down when firing. Torpedo - Remora drone, eh, strange idea and not very practical idea. I would suggest to simply replace with a stack of torpedoes, which can be launched one by one. It will be simpler and more reliable... And certainly much more effective.

Is there any realistic looking SAR Helis that are compatible with this ship?
