Simple Civilian Behaviour

Description
A simple script that i was using in my missions made into a mod

Why? Cause i hate vanilla civilian behaviour. They have specific panic animations, but they are practically unused. Same with a config, the way how those animations configed do not allow AI to properly play some of the animations.

What this mod does?
  • When there is any shooting happening around civilians, they play proper panic animations and start to flee as far as they can.
  • They can hop into empty vehicles and will try to drive away if possible.
  • If civilian is in the building, he will try to hide in it and will not leave it.
  • You can force civilians to move or stop via vanilla interaction menu.
  • Civilians play different voicelines when shooting starts.

Things to know
  • You can disable that behaviour by adding this into units init field: this setVariable ['WBK_DisableCivBehaviour',true]; - this will disable the behaviour for this particular unit
  • System was made for Zeus/Dynamic missions where there is no special behaviour for civies is involved.
  • Behaviour is not tested in campaign missions and there is no plans to do it, cause as i said it wasnt made for those kind of missions.
  • There is no CBA settings, didnt felt like adding some cause this system is already as simple as it can get.
  • Both server and client need to have this mod installed cause all the config for panic animations was re-done as well as there is some custom anims.

Can you make a settings to disable the behavior in CBA settings ? Sometimes we prefer not to have the behavior and sometimes we need it

It is really fun that some characters like generals or commanders also play scared animation while they armed no primary guns just pistols.

hello it seems zombies that i put in editor hops in empty vehicles also, can you check onto this? I understand that they are classified as civies after all however I cant imagine my scenarios without this wonderful mod of yours

When dismounting an AI (Civi faction only) they automatically play scared animation idk why.
