Mini Gravships v1.1
For Rimworld 1.6 + Odyssey DLC
(Load near the top of the mod-list, above other Gravship mods for best compatibility)

Recently added: very low gravcore spawn rate on exotic traders. empire traders should usually have a gravcore. Shields are buildable and cost a gravcore to make.

--- Default Gravship changes ---

Stuffable walls, doors, and thrusters.

Removed amount limit of Gravship-linked structures (and descriptions changed for it)

Buffed Gravship Hull to 500hp.

Buffed Vac Barrier to 300hp, also stuffable.

Thrusters transmit power.

Grav engine: Produces 2500W
(My reasoning, default Gravcore power cell makes 1200W. Parts from this mod will cost power.)

Pilot consoles use 50W

Grav turret: like the dlc beam rifle but stronger, needs a Gravcore to build.
(1250HP, no refueling, stuffable, 150W cost to stay on. No cost to fire.)

3x3 Gravship Gauss turret. Explosive auto-cannon type turret.

3x3 Thrusters with some extra range.

Modular engines: can go beneath structures and other engines.
(Does not transmit power, plugged-in like furniture.)

1x1 Solar panel. 375W

Wall-attached solar panel, also works off the ship. 1125W

1x3 and 1x1 Pilot consoles.

Hot and Cold temperature pumps.
(150W, they use heater mechanics to heat or cool the room.)

Vacuum pump, vent oxygen from the ship into space from any room, create surprise killboxes!
(Only works in space maps.)

Gravcore Reactor, produces 7500W forever with no fuel needed.

Small Gravshield: Recharges twice as fast as a normal gravshield.

Gravship door: 300HP, non-flammable, 300% open-close speed, stuffable. Uses 50W.
(Acts as an autodoor, but much better. Vacuum can and will pass through if open.)

Powered Hull: Hull that transmits power.

Solar Hull: 500W, 350HP, doesn't work under a roof, doesn't hold a roof.

Armored Hull: 750HP, stuffable. (Uranium armored walls are 3000HP)

Spaceship battery: Non-flammable, 95% efficiency. 1000w storage.

Large spaceship battery: Non-flammable, 95% efficiency. 4000w storage.

1x1 fuel tank: 125 fuel, portable (on ship), to fit in small awkward corners of the ship.

1x2 fuel tank: 250 fuel, rotatable.

4x4 fuel tank: 2500 fuel, impassable, to store fuel in larger ships.

Craftable mining charges. Incendiary, EMP, and High-Explosive varients also.

Small fuel optimizer. (Traded item.)

Anticraft beam turret. 1500W, costs a gravcore to make

Gauss turret, (similar to an autocannon, good steel refuel economy)

New stuffable composite Vac suits.

Stuffable passenger shuttles.

Stuffable Grav anchor.

Thrusters cost 150W since Grav engines make 2500W also.

When this mod is installed, Odyssey’s default small thrusters and consoles are inconveniently altered to require power and power conduits.
Even worse, this change is not explained on the mod page, leaving users to face inexplicable issues.
It’s fine for you to set the rules for the new gravship facilities you’ve added with this mod, but if you impose extra inconveniences on Odyssey’s basic gravship facilities, you should clearly explain them.
The most serious problem is that the thrusters on the starting ship in Odyssey’s gravship scenario no longer work because they aren’t connected to power conduits, making it impossible to take off.

There is far too little consideration for the users.

@RockyFoliage I am wondering this as well. Takes 750w of power, but can't really tell if it does much. Certainly way too much to have in every room.

What does the life support unit actually do? Can I replace all of my other pumps with it? Or does it work with them somehow?

unsure if this has been said before, but the composite vacsuit does not have a proper crafting cost. it costs 5 metallic, instead of, e.g. the kid composite vacsuit, which has an actually proper crafting cost.

nothing gamebreaking, just insanely easy to farm wealth (if you want to exploit) or just have a good armour in general for a really low cost

I went back to my actual save, and four small thrusters worked with the *regular* pilots console, but not the Small Pilot Console added here.

Regular pilot console: 4 thrusters, no problem.
Small and Mini pilot consoles: Game freeze.
So I guess it's something to do with the pilot console, then.

I unloaded this mod, and loaded Mini Gravships Lite to test in a new save. In the new save, 4 small engines worked just fine. (On the gravship start scenario, if you're curious.)

Then I went back, loaded this version instead of Lite, and did the same test. This time, however, it worked. Perhaps there's something specific about the wiring connections that my actual save didn't manage? Do they need to be wired straight into them like pipes?

Some testing.
* Vanilla or Modular Thrusters? Doesn't matter.
* Three small and one extra large thruster? Fine.
* Three extra large thrusters? Fine.
* Four extra large thrusters? Fine.

It seems like the issue is with small thrusters specifically, I suppose...?

I uninstalled all four and reinstalled them. Game freeze. I uninstalled one, leaving three plugged in. Launched fine. Hmm. I wonder what the issue is? It's not surpassing the vanilla limit, which is 4. Perhaps it's meeting the vanilla limit? 6 thrusters is too many, so meeting or surpassing means the game breaks during launch.

I noticed my game froze every time I tried to launch off again. After a bit of trial and error, I deduced it was this mod. Not having this mod installed and in use, but specifically the thrusters- I had 4 small thrusters installed, but when I reduced it down to 2, I was able to take off. Mysterious!
