Bloodlines: Legacies of AGOT is an unofficial expansion for CK3: A Game of Thrones, bringing deeper identity and flavor to the noble houses and cultures of Westeros and Essos.

Over 100 noble houses—from the legendary House Targaryen to the obscure House Scales—now possess unique legacy tracks, each granting powerful perks, custom modifiers, and access to house-specific Men-at-Arms retinues that reflect their battlefield traditions and reputations.

Every Westerosi and Essosi culture gains distinct cultural legacy tracks, offering new ways to express your people’s ethos and gain mechanical advantages in war, diplomacy, and beyond. In the glittering halls of Lys, where pleasure is power and secrets are coin, your dynasty may pursue a cultural legacy that reflects the city’s intoxicating allure. Across the narrow sea in Tyrosh, famed for its vibrant dyes and merchant captains, your dynasty may rise with wealth, guile, and mercantile power.

Features:

  • Over 100 new dynasty legacy tracks and 16 cultural legacy tracks to enhance your roleplay and gameplay.

  • Dozens of new Special Buildings , each unique to the dynasty and their location. Visit The Ring at Roxton, the ancient sparring yard that has trained generations of deadly swordsmen, explore Maidenpool and its busy ports of grain and salt, or enjoy the drink and rest at Old Stone Bridge inn. Each special building has been designed to give modifiers to each ruling host and expand the lore during your travels of Westeros.

  • Dozens of new Men-at-Arms units, each tailored to the legacy and lore of its house. Recruit the Gilded Thorns pikemen as House Osgrey, or the Howling Line heavy infantry as House Umber, as you wage war for the honor and glory of your house.

  • New house decisions, available to select dynasties: Host an Arbor Wine Festival as House Redwyne, Summon the Archmaesters as House Hightower, or even Proclaim the Kingdom of Duskendale as House Darklyn. Each decision grants prestige, modifiers, and roleplay opportunities that boost your house's legacy and renown.

  • New events and artifacts, tied to your house’s legacy choices and achievements such as House Reyne exploring the ruins of Castamere and potentially uncover a long-lost family relic, Reforge Red Rain if House Reyne recovers its ancestral sword from House Drumm, or even discover a Cask of Summerwine that was used for the coronation of Viserys the I.

New Update 2.9: Vale Update

  • Added 7 new dynasty legacy tracks and special MAA retinue units including House Egen, House Tollett, House Hardyng, House Redfort, House Belmore, House Hunter, and House Borrell.

  • Added 3 new special buildings including Longbow Hall Trophy Room, Wickenden Wax Works, and Sea King's Keep of the Paps.

  • Updated numerous MAA images/MAA stats from a variety of houses including House Florent, Roxton, Yronwood, Celtigar, Tallhart, Lydden, Mooton, Staunton, Norcross, and others. Every single house now has a unique MAA picture.

New Update 2.8: North Update

  • Added 7 new dynasty legacy tracks and special MAA retinue units including House Hornwood, House Tallhart, House Cerwyn, House Whitehill, House Locke, House Magnar, and House Wull.

  • Added 5 new special buildings including Hornwood Forest, North Mountains (Breakstone Cave), Kingshouse, Oldcastle, and Torrhen's Square.

New Update 2.7: Dorne Update

  • Added 5 new dynasty legacy tracks and special MAA retinue units including House Allyrion, House Vaith, House Jordayne, House Blackmont, and House Gargalen.

  • Added 4 new special buildings including the Red Dunes, Lemonwood, Blackmont Castle, and the Tor.

  • Changed ALL MAA and dynasty legacy track images to custom, artist based images. No more AI images.


New Update 2.6: Stormlands Update

  • Added 10 new dynasty legacy tracks and special MAA retinue units including House Fell, House Penrose, House Buckler, House Grandison, House Lonmouth, House Cole, House Trant, House Morrigen, House Staedmon, and House Errol.

  • Fixed code for House Celtigar and House Scales strong seeds (hopefully it fully works now).

  • Fixed a couple minor bugs including minor code fixes for MAA retinues.


New Update 2.5: Reach and Westerland Update

  • Added 7 new dynasty legacy tracks and special MAA retinue units including House Willum, House Vyrwel, House Norcross, House Serrett, House Plumm, House Prester, and House Greenfield.

  • Added 2 new special buildings including Wyvern's Rest and The Bower.

  • Updated Heavy Infantry MAA stats and counters.

  • Fixed a couple minor bugs.

  • This mod is NOT COMPATIBLE with AGOT: Minor House Flavour and AGOT: Minor Cultural Flavour. Please do not have both my mod or either of these two active in the same list. I recommend removing both of those mods for now as they are broken until they are potentially updated by Magnus.

  • I can not guarantee compatibility with every mod. I have strived to ensure it is compatible with select unofficial mods such as the AGOT Submod Core and its supported mods.

@Sageboba I'll get to the patch. It's not a major break or anything so I haven't prioritized it.

@Tejonrabioso I'll see. Varezys is a bit hard to do with a lack of lore.

@mailinglistenator I'll add it to the list.

@wunsche As MK Black mentioned, I just forgot to update the version in the descriptor file. It is up-to-date. Most CK and even most AGOT updates should not break this mod often.

@Sageboba I still need to create a compatibility patch to ensure the High Valyrian culture track doesn't go to the new Valyrian cultures created by LoV. As far as I'm aware, that is the only issue between my mod and LoV at the moment. Everything else should work as intended on both sides of the mod.

Is this compatible with Legacy of Valyria? When using this mod the people of Slaver's Bay all get access to the High Valyrian culture dynastic legacy. Apologies if I missed something.

@RC01214 Thanks for that explanation. It's interesting. I have heard that artifacts become invisible when a certain amount of mods or their order is wrong can do it. Hopefully samuellennon77 can figure it out.

@samuellennon77 I have also been getting this error, but using multiple permutations of mods with AGOT; seems like that invisible artifact issue might trigger if too much mod/localization data is loaded at once.
