Description


Hello there! Welcome to my Black Mesa First-Person Animations addon!

This addon contains contextual first person animations from Black Mesa, Black Mesa: Bĺue Shift and Black Mesa workshop

Features:
1 Animation for taking shock damage(with chance)
1 Animation for taking headshot(with chance)
3 Animations for falling with low horizontal velocity and low explosion damage and low blunt damage with high force
2 Animations for falling with high horizontal velocity and high explosion damage and low blunt damage with very high force
3 Knock animations(see commands below)
2 Spawn Teleport animations with effects
1 Spawn animation

Settings:

Tool Menu >> Options >> Limakenori >> BM FP Animations

Commands:
lima_xte_doorknock 1 - Soft knocks
lima_xte_doorknock 2 - Hard knocks
lima_xte_doorknock 3 - Crazy knocks

lima_xte_getup - Get Up Animation Random
lima_xte_getup 1 - Get Up Animation 1
lima_xte_getup 2 - Get Up Animation 2
lima_xte_getup 3 - Get Up Animation 3

lima_xte_doanim animation_name - Play any animation from this addon
Instead animation_name you should put any of these:
fall, fall1, fall2, fall3, fall_fast, knockout, blackout, knock1, knock2, knock3, fall_spawn, teleport

To bind comands with numbers type
bind m "lima_xte_getup 1"

Recommended Addons:
Arctic's Radial Binds - Easier access to different knock animations

FAQ:

Q: Can you make it work in third-person/make it visible on other players?
A: No, these animations are not suitable for third-person.

Q: What's blunt damage?
A: Damage with DMG_CRUSH or DMG_CLUB damage type and with force higher than 200 hammer units. Examples: Antlion guard's attack, Hunter's charge attack, Prop thrown with gravity gun, rollermine that jumps on a high speed, etc.

Q: How to bind knocks?
A: Above you is an example of binding command.

its unfortunate how when you spawn with a modded weapon it will just spawn up straight and probably including the half-life vanilla weapons too

I don't make anims for this.
new idea: add a animation for drowning and dying.

for some reason when you first spawn in a map with "Wake Up with weapon" animation type, the crowbar is not there. And only after respawing in a map does it bring back the crowbar in the animation until you go to a different map where it'll do it all over again. Is this a bug or a me thing?

is there a way to not get the really long get up animation? also is there a way to not get i really long get up animation with looking around after being hit simply by a combine? i think it is kind of bad to be mid fight and then punched, knocked over, look around for a bit, and then be killed because i was looking around. i think it is cool but not the right animation for being slapped. can there be a command to make them scale?

i wish this had a sort of changelevel-check system, cuz playing through the HL2 campaign maps with this is kinda annoying, specially when going through a changelevel trigger while in a vehicle
