Relentless Encounters - Patrols & Raids

Description
Warning: This mod will make raids and patrols far more dangerous. Expect them to arrive in overwhelming numbers with stronger units. If you think you are ready, think again. The world will show you no mercy.

This mod increases the scale and danger of patrols and raids, creating a far more challenging and oppressive world for those who seek true survival difficulty.

In Bellwright, patrols are sent out regularly by bandit camps to maintain their territory and challenge your expansion. Additionally, there are several types of raids that threaten your settlements:
- Tax Collector Raids
- Reclamation Raids
- Liberation Raids
- Bandit Raids

Both patrols and raids use a Threat Table system. Each has a defined Threat Level that scales based on player actions, which translates into a set number of points available to generate their respective parties. The game then pulls units from a Party Table, with each unit type and tier having an assigned point cost, and builds the group to spend as many points as possible.

Relentless Encounters - Patrols and Raids raises both the Point Limit and the Preferred Squad Size for these parties, resulting in significantly larger and stronger forces attacking your lands. Patrols will also become more dangerous as they scale dynamically with these changes. We have roughly tripled the Point Limit for all patrols and raids, allowing the system to create parties with either more units or higher tiered units as it sees fit within its allotted points.

Additionally, the game's difficulty settings further modify these outcomes. For example, selecting Impossible difficulty multiplies base raid spawns by up to 3x and brigand raid spawns by up to 2.5x. Combined with this mod's increased base counts, your encounters will grow exponentially more dangerous at higher difficulties.

This mod is classified as a SPAWNER mod. Any changes it makes will only apply to newly created patrols and raids after the mod is installed. For best results, use it with a new game or wait for events to refresh. Any changes it makes will persist even after the mod is removed. To fully revert its effects, you must start a new game or eliminate any spawned entities affected by it while it was active.

Relentless Encounters - Patrols and Raids is designed for those who want their world to feel alive, hostile, and filled with constant, escalating threats. Prepare wisely, as every patrol and raid will now test your defenses like never before.

Are you talking about DMVK - Better Prosperity - Tier III? I've put it in the game pask directory, but it doesn't work for my game

You can already do 1.5, with this mod, by changing the in game settings for raid strength to low, there by cutting the amount in half. We put warnings in the description. if they cant be heeded, we are not at fault.

Hello, I hope everything is going well for you. Could you develop a mod about the prosperity level of villages? Currently, the growth of prosperity is too slow.

We havnt tried yet, but we *might* be able to "trick" the modkit, into packaging our Lingering Dawn. Will have to try and see. Its not included as a file we can alter, since its part of the engine.ini. Still waiting for the devs to expose that function, so we can make it for everyone that wants it.

I had my game set to the highest difficulty, I consider myself a vet player, but oh Lordy I had to turn it all down to easy with this mod..I will pump it up once I have at least 5 villages who don't have a wooden club, this is perfect thank you, I'm actually cautious of battles now, great addition to the game!, now I just need a slower time mod or longer days!, and I will be as happy as a pig in shit, hope to see you continue mod supporting Void, and that the trolls don't bite to hard, thank you again!

The values we posted, RaidStrengthMultipliers and BrigandsRaidStrengthMultipliers, are the base vanilla settings for the game, without any mods. This is ripped straight from the config for the game settings.
