Description
Support Crawler
Overview
When your primary and secondary assets get in trouble, you need support. This is the niche the Support Crawler fills. Besides it's large fuel tanks for Jet and Diesel fuel, it's able to fight fires, repair equipment, take on casualities and transport up to 8 standard containers.

Features
Driver
The Driver's control are similar to other crawlers in this class. The only major change in the cockpit is from the option to enable the Aquatic Mode, engaging four propellers powered by a medium electric motor.

NOTE:
Remember to turn of the track power CBs in the maintenance area when moving in Aquatic Mode. Otherwise battery drainage is substantional!

Arm Operator
The Arm Operator can control the Support Crawlers huge robotic arm to fight fires, repair structures, lift equipment and illuminate the concerned area.

On a screen, the Operator can see the position of it's arm, controlled on four axis for ultimate freedom and access to everything in the vicinity of the Crawler.

The Operator has also access to the control panel of the 8 container tacks for loading and unloading standard containers.

The Control Deck features indicator for it's two primary tanks with level indicators, flow rates and the status of the unloading and loading pumps.

Loading and unloading of the tanks are done by three hose connectors below the engine nacelles. A light can be switched on by the Driver to enable night operations.

Observer
The Observer can control a FLIR pod similar to other crawler. His station also features an NFT functionality, allowing even a tanker crew to control essential assets on a battlefield, if the need arises.

Operation
For loading and unloading containers, work in close coordination with the Driver. For this purpose the Driver can switch his map screen to the same view the Operator has switched the container loading screen.

The Operator then can arm or disarm the corresponding connectors for each container bay. When ready, the Driver should according the view from the screen align the vehicle with the container and drive slowly over it. When the vehicle is correctly positioned over the container, the Operater can arm the connectors.

NOTE:
It is recommendable to latch a container first to the structural better lower hardpoints to help align for later attachement to the lift.

NOTE:
When switching from the lower connectors to the lift, wait a few seconds before disabling the other connectors.

Then the container can be moved upwards and attached to the upper connectors.
As soon as it has latched to the upper connectors, the lift can be moved back down again to latch to the lower connectors in the same manner.

With this method, one can lift a container to latch with it's bottom connectors to the top ones from the rack, making space for a second container attaching below.

CAUTION:
Keep containers attached to primary connectors, not the lift, when moving!

Nah, you don't need a dedicated AA crawler. The Juggernaut with it's versatile weapon suite is more than up to the task:

You could also just load a single SAM Container on the Support Crawler. Makes it quite the AA system just by itself:

When do we get a AA crawler?

As far as I know, this one is in the Crawler Collection. Or is it another collection you mentioned?

Yup, including sights for the operators would be a benefit. I think about adding it throughout the series. Good point, Thx!

Oh, and one more thing. Mr. Richman, is it planned to switch from large screens to more convenient "sights" from one of the recent updates in these builds? (And of course in other buildings of this serie) As has already been done on the "Juggernaut", for example. At least partially, as far as I remember.

Why isn't this lil miracle is not in the main collection??? It's a wonderful thing, and it seems like it could be added there, since it should fully support sister buildings.

The generators are not meant to produce enought power for the landship to sprint all the time. You need to take your time, when traveling longer distances.

Or when a short sprint is necessary, you can go full throttle, but keep the time in mind to recharge the batteries when you're on site.

It kinda seems that the generators don't produce enough power for the tracks when it is moving.
