Description
TL;DR
This mod adds new xenotypes, including Thunder Warriors, Custodes, Firstborn Space Marines, Primaris, Primarchs, Living Saints from the Warhammer 40K universe. New production pipeline to create them. New systems: Armor Decoration and Ranking Tree. New structures and items.




















  • Melee Animation support included, all melee weapons pre-configured.
  • If Dubs Rimatomics or Crash Landing mods are installed, the Melachrome provides resistance to radiation from those mods.
  • RimHUD displays how much time is left before gene-seeds can be harvested. You need to select the “RimDark 40K - Mankind’s Finest” preset in the Content tab of the RimHUD settings for it to be active.

  • FemaleApparelVariants is not compatible, breaks masking of armor.

Q: "WHY IS AGRON HAPPY????; WHY IS EVERYTHING PRE HERESY REEE????"
A: Yes. The mod is built around the idea of “what if nothing ever went wrong” - like, what if the Horus Heresy never happened? But if you want Horus to be evil and Angron to be raging, don't worry, we’ll add these features in upcoming Chaos-related module.

Q: I'm using this mod with Facial Animations, and my Space Marines have angry eyebrows floating on top of their helmets.
A: While it’s pretty hilarious, this can be easily fixed. Just go into the Facial Animations mod settings and uncheck “Draw the eyebrows above the hat.”

Q: How do I turn on the option to have male Living Saints and female Primarchs?
A: While the latter is pure heresy, you can enable it by going to the VE Framework options and select the Toggleable Patches tab - you'll find it there, along with a bunch of other options.

Q: Will there be Custodes gear also?
A: Yes, probably.

Q: Will you rework the other mods too?
A: Probably, but this stuff takes time.

Q: Can this mod be used with your other Warhammer 40k mods?
A: Some of them may work, reports say that Cybernetics, Abhuman and Psykers work. Core, Genes, Factions and Ideology will not.

Q: Living Saints? Eeew, girls!
A: You can set the Living Saint chance to 0% (effectively disabling them for your run) in the mod settings. You can also allow male pawns to become Living Saints in the same settings.

Q: Is this compatible with Grimworld?
A: Supposedly.

Q: CE?
A: Not currently. If you want one, poke them about it.

Q: Can I add this to an existing save file?
A: It's better not to. Technically, it might work (the fewer mods you already have in your save, the higher the chances), but we do not guarantee stability or proper functionality.

When I equip Terminator armor on a Space Marine, his helmet falls off, and it says Power Armor is required. Isn't Terminator armor Power Armor? It's fine with regular armor, so what's the point of Terminator armor and a regular helmet?

To harvest geneseed from corpses you need to be an astarte and going down the apothecary rank tree. I would recommend getting the reducter or the other one before attempting to extract the geeneseed as it significantly increases the success chance.

all the armours are broken for me and show up with buggy textrues that lag my game

I'm having issues with the coloring of the Space marine armor. I am unable to change it in Prepare Carefully, or use a styling station to change it. It changes the shoulder pads, but the rest of them look like unpainted 40k figurines. Am I missing something? :steamsad:

Happens with the Primarchs, Primaris, all of them, not sure what I'm missing, as I read over the coloring and customization a few times already

Hey i had a question for the community. I've noticed whenever my pawns go to bed or bathe their bodies go invisible upon unequipping power-armor/living saint armor. Im wondering if there is any way i could have my pawns always "draw bodies" underneath their armor (aka body texture exist underneath armor like 90% of armor/clothing at all times). So when they go to bed their bodies arent invisible. Any suggestions or ideas?

It seems odd to have Living Saints bundled with Space Marines. They are usually associated with Sisters of Battle, aren't they? Speaking of which, it would be great to have some kit for the ladies; in Rimworld your most combat-capable pawns are just as likely to be female.
