Description
Yes, it actually cuts things!

What would happen if the Combine confiscators supercharged Gordon Freeman's crowbar instead of his gravity gun?
This!

The weapon is located in the HL2 weapons tab.

The update is here!
Added the following console variables:
- cutmod_sc_nocuteffects: Disables the green slash cut surface effect.
- cutmod_sc_drainrate: Sets the rate at which the suit charge is drained. If 0 or less, the suit charge is ignored completely and you can cut freely.
- cutmod_sc_dissolvetime: Sets the time it takes for a cut piece to dissolve. If less than 0, pieces never dissolve.
All of these console variables are server-side and archived, and changes are applied to the weapon when you switch to it.
I also added an entry to the cleanup menu named "Cut Pieces" which lets you manually remove all cut pieces that you created.
Please keep in mind that "experimental" also means that everything is subject to change. If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments.

Instructions:
Left click to do a push attack that smashes things and right click to do a pull attack that may recharge your suit if you hit an enemy. If your suit charge is at 75 or above, hit reload to activate discharge mode where you can aim with right click and slice things with left click to regain health.

Please be aware:
This addon contains my new cutting technology and is very much experimental; Lua was never meant to be used for anything like this, the Source Engine was never meant to do anything like this, and the code is currently multiple sub-systems that I have pieced together into a working prototype and is very messy. Do not expect this addon to always play nicely with other addons, and expect certain details to change with updates. It should be stable by itself, but I haven't had the chance to test it in multiplayer, so use at your own risk.

Also, I apologize for the hiatus. Updates to my other mods should be coming soon!

lotsa errors for some reason and when i slice combine soldier he just dissapears and i see like 30-20 shadows of combine soldier a posing on floor and then they desintegrate themselves for some reason

thank you so much for making this mod, I've always wanted to be able to dynamically slice stuff in gmod, and thank you even more for still updating it

I just pushed an update! It does not have the API, but it's getting close.

- Began implementing the code organizing system
- Stopped an error that could occur when cutting
- Potentially fixed viewmodel hands not looking correct
- Multiple small bug fixes and improvements

If anything seems broken or does not look correct, please let me know right away, and give me details!

Add to the console commands damage multiplier you can have us type it in like this "cutmod_sc_dmg_multiplier" and then we type in the desired numbers for damage like "9999999999" for example.

What it does in multiplayer is that it doesn't cut anything. Whatever it cuts just disappears.

Just lettin' 'ya know since you weren't able to test it in multiplayer!
