I like this addon, pretty useful for my newbie ass. But it feels like I made it easier when I have this available, so it kinda feels cheating for me. I think it might be more immersive if it worked as one user suggested: marking enemies automatically when you see them with your fog of war, which to me, would encourage a habit of surveying the area before engaging.
But since this is called "Enemy Marker", it somehow also marks people who are either friendly or neutral to you, which might not be helpful, since it is quite difficult to tell who's hostile until they shoot at you if you dare approach them.

can u make a version where u can press a button and ur character makes a mental note about the general area of them

Was hoping for a nice tool preventing me from shooting all those neutral guys in total panic. Obviously it doesnt work this way atm but maybe you can implement options for the mod in the future.

This is a very good mod.
However, I’ve noticed two issues:
First, it marks things that aren’t enemies.
Would it be possible to either hide the marker for friendlies and neutrals, or change the color of the marker for them?
Second, it displays markers even for things outside my line of sight.
This is a very powerful feature, but it feels a bit like using a cheat with how strong it is.
How about only showing markers when they’re within line of sight or close by?
