Description


Heavily inspired from the Minecraft's most popular performance mod Optifine.
This mod allows the Player to customize some demanding graphics while adding some performance options to increase fps.

Still in early development I thought it would be a good idea to release this mod for people to use.
Give me feedback, ideas, reports for me to improve this mod.

With the right settings, your FPS might double or even triple.

What does this mod offer ?

  • Brute Force Entity Culling.
  • Quick and efficient Graphic configuration.
  • Memory and RAM optimizations.
  • Options to enable Queued and Threaded rendering for shadows, entities, NPC's etc.
  • Easy and user friendly interface with easy to use options and explanations.
  • Compatible with both 32 bit and 64 bit version of Garry's Mod.
  • Compatible with most of the mods in Workshop.
  • Type !optimenu in chat to see all the settings you can change.

Warning
Possible visual glitches or artifacts are possible due to how the scripts being handled. If you see any issues with other mods, try to disable some options from the optimenu.

Note: Entity culling script is still under experimental state. Bugs could accur, please send reports, screenshots, error codes for me to improve.

Try to report the bugs and give me as much information, error log, screenshots you can provide so I can work on a fix.

- Currently known issues:

-Incompatible with mods that changes FOV or puts Player in 3rd person, this happens because of Entity Culling script. Disable the script and it'll be fixed.

-Not compatible with other Performance mods, since they change a lot of stuff this mod already allows you to configure.

-MAY cause some visual glitches with Scripted weapons or Cars.



This was one of my first mods, I'm pretty new at Lua Coding and trying to improve. It may take some time for me to update, improve or push bug fixes for this mod as I'm also working in a full-time job and coding as a hobby.
If you consider, give a like and perhaps give me feedback on how well the mod is doing so I can improve further.

Can you explain some of the glitches ? I maybe able to patch it out while preparing the next update.

this worked so well (mind you my laptop is very low-end) i started getting screen tearing and had to turn on v-sync. there was a lot of glitches but they were easily fixed with a few extra addons and console commands. i really recommend this. :steamthumbsup:

Локализация на другие языки будет поддерживаться, когда мод примет более завершённый вид. Большинство функций всё ещё требует доработки, добавлений и изменений. А добавление локализации только замедлит скорость обновления мода для меня.
Однако, когда мод будет в более хорошем состоянии, я добавлю больше локализаций для других языков.

тебе если не трудно переведи мод на русский а то с англиским туго а переводчиком не особо удобно пользоваться

You can just bind it if you don't want to type the command over over.
Bind it to a key you never use.

Well, the settings are tied to this mod.
It creates a save file on your gmod folders so it can keep em.
If you delete this mod it'll delete the settings for this mod too.

disable misc entity culling if yall have problems with map parts getting culled in a buggy way if your not looking at the center of them

i have a question, if i use the mod once and save the changes, the things i did get saved?
