Hey there! Before asking "when is the next update", please take a look at my Starbound Mods Status Sheet[docs.google.com]!
All information relating to my modding schedule and the current state of my mods can be found there! Thank you for your patience.

"Biome Uniformity" is a bit of a nit-picky mod on my part, but I think some of you may enjoy it as well!
What does it do? Well, you know how Starbound planets have a primary biome, and multiple secondary biomes? (A forest planet, for example, has "forest" as the primary biome, and "garden" or "jungle" as the secondary biomes.)
This mod completely removes the possibility of secondary biomes, but NOT MINI-BIOMES!! It doesn't actually "delete" or erase any existing biomes though, they are left untouched.

If any mod adds new secondary biomes to planets, the secondary region still gets removed.
This is because this mod has a priority of 9999 - it loads very late. This allows other mods to safely make changes to planets, only coming in at the very end to remove the secondary region anyway. So yes, even if you have a mod that adds/swaps secondary biomes for planets, the secondary region as a whole will still be removed.

Why?
Well, personally, I think it's really weird to find a healthy forest biome on a blazingly hot volcanic planet. Or the midnight biome being found on ANY other planet except midnight?? Not only that, I believe that this encourages more exploration, as you won't find multiple biomes, or multiple resources, on a single planet.
That's just my personal preference, though!

If you're looking to have secondary biomes on planets that make a little more sense, I recommend checking out Starburst or More Sensible Secondary Biome Distribution instead!

I added just about every mod with planets in the entire Steam workshop, but I didn't test each and every single one of them.
This includes Frackin' Universe, Arcana, my own planet mods, lesser known ones... etc! If I'm missing any planet mods you use, please let me know!

This mod is uninstall friendly! If you don't like the changes, just uninstall at any time, travel away from your current spot in the universe, and planets will generate with secondary biomes again!

@Davoker
Settlements and other planet-wide dungeons are not biome-based. So planets typically have a limit of 3 per planet, because of how massive those can be. Having no more secondary biomes doesn't affect planet dungeon count at all.

@Rib
I mean... Like every other planet affected, it'll only have the main biome, and any mini-biomes. But the main biome may still be randomized per Unknown planet? I have no idea, I don't actually use FU.

Apologies if this was asked already, but I am curious how this would effect unknown type worlds from FU?

I haven't played Starbound in a while and I still haven't tried this mod. I had a question: how does this mod affect the settlements we can find from the different races? For example, without this mod, we could find up to three different biomes, and in one of them we might come across a Novakid settlement, and in another biome, an Apex one, for instance.

If planets now only have one main biome, I guess that means we'll need to visit more planets to find those races, more exploration, right?

Oh, I probably should've added test patches for detecting if there's the "secondaryRegions" in the fist place... :dos2skull:
I'll update the mod sometime to cover this problem.
