Flavor Universalis Updated (1.37)

Description
This mod is an update to the Flavor Universalis mod, that sadly got deleted after the developer decided to touch grass and got a job at paradox. I am aware that the Europa Expanded team took over the original mod and merged it into theirs, however, many of the missions were not integrated, so I decided I might as well update it for the people who care.

If you are not familiar with Flavor Universalis, or don't remember the mission trees it included, check out the wiki [flavor-universalis.fandom.com] for more information.

While the goal of this mod is to update FU to 1.37, this also includes making some minor alterations to the original content to ensure it works with modern additions to the game. An example of this is that the Ottomans also get their disaster mission tree from vanilla added to the FU mission tree, because otherwise it would be impossible to end the diasters the ottomans get. I've also added the ability to switch between certain mission trees and choose mission trees when forming some nations.

There might still be issues with the mod that I wasn't able to find, so if you encounter them, just say so and I will try to fix it.

Countries are focusing on me.While playing this mode(old version), I have never seen Candar and Mamluk become allies or Aragon take Albania as a vassal. There's something weird about the mod.

also apparently this mod really messes up the hungarian focus tree with the visuals glitching out

Of course, I could still make decisions that allow you to switch even for those nations, but frankly, it's surprisingly tedious and I don't really feel like doing it lol

@NiNjad912 The countries that have a choice to switch between vanilla and modded trees are countries that will eventually switch missions upon forming a nation.

So for example, you might want to play with the vanilla Timurid mission tree, but use the modded Persia tree, or vice versa. Or use the modded Holland tree, but vanilla Netherlands. The decision allows you to choose.

On the other hand, if you're playing as a country like Sweden, you can just turn off the mod if you don't want the modded tree. There's no flavor universalis Scandinavia mission tree for example, so the choice isn't too important.

why are many countries such as sweden, milan, and aragon forced to use the modded mission trees while others such as the holland can choose?

Thanks for the update! does it still have the "integration" with "trade goods expanded"?

anbennar if you wish i have cool ideas if you want to hear them in pms after friend request?
skoobeldoobel  [author] 25 May @ 7:18am
@SchGang Probably not. I do plan on making my own mission trees, but it will probably be standalone, and also probably for anbennar

planning on adding new trees?
skoobeldoobel  [author] 25 May @ 2:08am
@epistimi I completely forgot about that, and you're right. I don't like removing stuff though, so I did decide to buff those ideas. Of course, considering vanilla byzantium ideas are already S-tier, making those new ideas worthwhile but not overpowered is a difficult thing lol. Let me know what you think of the changes (if you have already changed ideas in your game, these new ones should show up)
