Realish NPCs makes NPCs react more to theft, so they immediately begin searching for a thief - and if your reputation is lower or neutral, they will immediately suspect you. That's a game mechanic, but Realish NPCs just amplifies it.

i am also using realish npc's though. not sure if thats just amplifying the effect

In Semine when i take 3 or 4 of the voulges out in the open where the guards sleep, without anyone being nearby, i will hear someone in the distance yell "ROBBERY!!" and it takes them a good bit to get to me. how did they see or hear me lol. do the odds of me getting caught go up with each item i steal? its kinda neat just not expected

As far as NPCs seeing the player through objects, that's not happening either. They're hearing you or your level of concealment is not what you think. I don't care about anecdotal evidence, since I know the parameter changes I've made are not drastic, and any NPC perception bug is a game bug, not caused by the mod.

"npcs seeing corpses and the player from far away even through objects"

That's not what's happening. What is happening is that when you kill an NPC who's part of a group or faction, inside a faction's territory, they will go looking for that NPC. When that behavior is triggered, NPCs often have uncanny sense as to where the *downed NPC is. When you *down an NPC, hide the body well away from the area and/or inside a room. I can't say for certain they still won't find the body, but they're usually slower in finding it.

* Kill or knockout

Fun mod and great idea, though the people mentioning npcs seeing corpses and the player from far away even through objects are correct. Keeps happening to me. Sneaking around the woods is also weird with this as I cannot see the people but everyone can see the player through any kind of foliage. I don't think that one aspect is fixable though. Great collection nonetheless! Thank you!

great, thanks. I would miss the tension if i couldnt do it. I ended up just pickpocketing their keys whilst sleeping which is not as fun

Two factors involved: npc hearing and lockpick base noise. I may lower the base noise. I'll have to look at what I set it.

There's also a perk.
