Description

This mod brings two new unique thralls to the world of Conan Exiles: Alina the Fate-Sister and Kianne the Blight-Weaver. Caught in the midst of their own timeless struggle to return to their realm together, Alina and Kianne have been overcome and imprisoned by the hordes of the purge. Not only do these thralls have purge-tier level stats, but they provide passive buffs befitting their nature.

My motivation to make this mod was to introduce a couple more of my favorite heroes to Conan Exiles, and lore-wise, to play on some of the themes I am a big fan of. As these thralls push the envelope a bit further in terms of thrall power, they are exclusive rewards for the challenge of level 10 purges.


  • Alina the Fate-Sister is a fighter thrall with with a unique passive buff, Divine Presence. Players within range are granted +100 Armor and up to +50% healing based on the number of buff stacks.

  • Kianne the Blight-Weaver is also a fighter thrall, offering a unique passive buff, Infernal Aura. Players within range are granted +10% strength weapon damage and +10% agility weapon damage. The benefit is always 10% regardless of stack size.

  • There is a 10% chance for a level 10 purge fighter cage to include either Alina or Kianne, so it may take completing multiple level 10 purges before finding either one. Note that not every cage at the end of a purge is a "fighter cage" as the cages are random.

Refer to this chart to compare combat stats and starting attributes for the champions in this mod. Alina and Kianne have identical stats, but offer different passive buffs. The list below is ordered by Melee Damage Modifier, and pre-existing thralls are also present for reference (in bold type and marked with the symbol '*').

If you uninstall this mod, Alina and Kianne will be gone from the game, likely having returned to whatever realm they came from.

DE-MYSTIFYING RNG: These thralls are intended to be late/end game thralls and a rare find. The level 10 purge is some of the hardest content to reach in solo play, although very reasonable to do solo with the right base, thralls, and strategies. For transparency, below is my best understanding of the odds of getting Alina and Kianne for any given level 10 purge. If any updates are made that effect this, I can update these numbers.
  • 5x thrall cages spawn with a level 10 purge (barkeepers and the mercenary cages do not count against this number)

  • Each of the 5x thrall cages has a 1 in 6 chance of being a fighter cage, i.e., 0.8333 fighter cages per purge

  • Each fighter thrall cage has a 10% chance of being one of the new thralls, Alina or Kianne

  • Alina and Kianne are equally weighted at 50%

  • 0.8333 * 10% = 8.333% chance per purge to get either Alina or Kianne

  • 12 purges on average to get Alina or Kianne (1/8.333%)

  • ~23 purges for a 50% chance of getting both ([1-(95.8333%)^NumberOfPurges]^2)

Hey @mikethegodwin, thanks for the question. I have not tested with aoc, but this mod doesn't replace any data or affect base game assets, so there should not be conflicts. As long as purges can happen in aoc and leverage the same tables for caged thralls at purge level 10, then Alina and Kianne should be possible to find.

Hi @Joacogenius_me, I am good and I hope the same for you! I have thought about trying to add some hero or another from Conan lore. Bêlit would be a cool choice for sure. It is something I am really interested in, so I can share that at least for now. Thank you much for the comment and the ideas!

Hello, how are you? I wanted to ask if you could make a mod like this one but with the character Bêlit, the Queen of the Black Coast, and her father Admiral Atrahasis, King of the Pirates? (Marvel comic "Age of Conan: Bêlit" 2019) I am a big fan of Conan and I love your content for giving prominence to characters who might not be very well known within this great world.

Hi @Raider, this is a late follow up but I saw with the August update that had this fix among other purge fixes: "Damage could be dealt to caged NPCs before liberation sequence completed" Wonder if you have tried it since? Before the update, I used gas arrows on the enemy FOB from time-to-time and suspect that might have led to an empty cage or two.

Hey @werneckm2456, thank you for leaving a comment, really appreciate it! I hear you and am always thinking about this too. Definitely reserve the right to increase the % chances on these two and will certainly do that if I update this mod with more thralls. Besides all the testing for the mod itself, I have collected Alina and Kianne a few times in different play throughs. If you are raking in the resources and getting other cool champs with purges in the meantime, its all good, but once you are really just hunting these two it can get frustrating if RNG continues to be rough on you. Something like a mercy % boost would be nice, but its a real challenge to work that on the back end. Thanks again!

damn man, I know it's RNG but literally I went back to playing Conan to do purge level X to try to get his thralls, and there go 10 hours of gameplay without luck.... there's no way to increase the chances a little, hahaha just kidding your mods are great!!!

Hi @Raider, thanks for the feedback and the heads up with using Valkyrie mod along with Thrall Wars, appreciate it! I have not tried Thrall Wars, but great to hear you found a solution and had luck with this one at the end of the day. I'll update the description with a compatibility section soon so I can highlight reports like these. Thanks again :steamthumbsup:

Here's a little feedback. I suspect a conflict with the Thrall Wars mod. I've had several cages appear empty twice, even though there was an NPC inside. No luck after 12 purges. So I moved this mod to the end of the mod list and finally had luck in the 14th purge. By the way, all the mods are great.
