Gideon's Steamdeck Shenanigans - Gas Station

Description
Gideon's quest of finding his precious Steamdeck continues, this time the clues have lead him to a remote gas station in the middle of nowhere. Will he find what he is looking for there or will he leave emptyhanded?

(Also please don't skip cutscenes by holding ESC - it will break some scripts and stuff, you can still spam left click and space to go through them faster) Besides that, enjoy the level!

The start is a bit rough indeed, but the gun is more like a thing you pick up for later when you find ammo for it

Fun, but holy crap that start is some BS. First guard has a generally useless shotgun, pistol behind the counter has no bullets, and so many sentries around have radios. Eventually snowballed ONCE I got the suppressed AK off the guy north of the gas station, and then stuff kinda steam rolled a bit, but thats a ROUGH jump from barehanded to end.

I don't even have 3 levels yet lol and the second is not really ambush, but I can see where you are coming from

The gun was intended to have no bullets, you get it and look for ammo for it and the ambush in the first level was intended to push you out of the house to avoid getting killed, since the cutscene before lets you know they are coming (plus there is a vent in the toilet), same in the second level, you know one guy is coming and you can knock him out if you don't want people to get alerted or hide the bodies and leave before he sees you. In general the level was made to feel chaotic in the beggining

another thing. heres some tips from screwing around in other programs like this.


1. boot up the base game levels, in the editor and ask a few questions.

2. Am i safe at the start, and if not, can i see it coming and react.

3. why is this here, what gameplay purpose does this serve.

4. is there any spots that could be cheesed. (CNN storage room as an example.)

5. is it fun to play?

6. (this one is not exactly needed but still) can this be beaten on the hardest diff without becoming bald?
