Beastmen in Confessions [BEASTMEN BOSS NOW AVAILABLE!]

Description
Bestial horrors stampede through the country in wanton herds!

This mod brings the Beastmen into Confessions. They have a chance to replace Road Encounters; the chances are:

2
50%
3
66%

Beating the Beastmen will grant Relics, Baubles, Region Trinkets, a chance to grant Mastery, and also a 33% chance to drop their unique Combat and Inn Items. Inn Items have been adapted to have more general utility.

New Infernal Flame: The Raging Bonfire

This mod now adds a new Infernal Flame that adds new mashes that mixes Beastmen with other enemies' factions. Those mashes will replace all Resistance Encounters for the four main regions. It also adds new interactions between factions. Some enemies' skills can interact with Beastmen, and some Beastmen skills have additional effects when they are with other factions.

The Raging Bonfire also allows the player to gain Enrage tokens.

Face The Beastmen's Patriarch

Now you can face Meat Hook with this mod! You'll be able to face it at the last Oblivion Rampart of the game. In order to do that:

  • Get the Alpha Rot Claw's Head at the Valley Inn.
  • Equip it before entering the final Region before The Mountain.

Equipping Alpha Rot Claw's Head as a stagecoach item will also increase the chance of finding Beastmen on Road Battles to 80%, independently of the region.

Keep in mind his game stats are lower than the ones you face him on Escalation 3, so he starts with some buffs depending of the Region to match that power, while also scaling differently depending on the Act.

  • Act 1: +20% HP, +20% DMG.
  • Act 2: +30% HP, +30% DMG.
  • Act 3 and following: +40% HP, +40% DMG.

Beating Beastmen's Final Boss will grant the player: 2 mastery, 1 full stack of one of Beastmen's Items and 2 stacks of one of Beastmen's Inn Items. Those rewards are not final, since I'll be adding exclusive trinkets to that battle.

Future plans

As I mentioned before, I'll be working on creating new trinkets for the Beastmen's Final Boss's battle, but in addition to this, I'm also working on adding Alpha Rot Claw in a way. I'll also be working on a rework of the Enrage mechanic, since I want to add Berserk Tokens for the player as well. Finally, I am also undecided if I should add Beastmen mashes with Cultists (on Oblivion Ingress) and also with Sluice and Catacombs. Let me know in the comments!.

@안전장치와쮸보봅큥큥 recent update fixed the rates, they should keep the same now. And I haven't modified Warlord rates at all on Region 1 and 2, so that's unrelated
Would you consider a slight nerf to coven/beastman encounter rates? I haven’t run into a field boss—Collector, Warlord, etc.—since I hit subscribe lmao ;_;

BUGFIX: Fixed a bug where the Collector did not appear on faction road mashes, significantly reducing his appearance rate. Thanks to @BloodySir13 for reporting that!

@BloodySir13 I made sure the Collector mashes were still there on the road battles, but it has been aeons since I saw Collector with this mod on (even if I know I *have* seen him at a time) so I'll double check it just to make sure everything works accordingly

Hey there, loving the mod a lot so far. However I'm not sure if I've had a recent string of unfortunate luck, but it feels like with this mod, I have had zero collector Spawn rates, even with the most opportune chances (Earlier Region 1 Layer, Collector Chandelier, all road fights faction). Similar to the previous comment on the same subject, curious if you could confirm that Collector spawns are unaffected?

Yeah, just encountered the same bug with the raging bonfire in the Shroud, the fight loads infinitely. But despite that, a very fun flame.
