@GuhSZCHAVE I realised I have been tweaking my mod order, so they no longer appear. Once the list is complete I will try to remember to check which still appear, if any, and let you know. I am reasonably sure that they are from an Origin mod.

Unless you updated the mod somehow in the last day and that's why they no longer appear (sorry, tired!)

Thankyou @hatoful Pengu!

@GuhSZCHAVE I will check now. One is 100% from a Babylon 5 mod, the other two I am less certain of

@Annarresti
Which empires are appearing? Since many people are asking, I’ll include compatibility with all the mods you all report here. :steamthumbsup:

@Annarresti first, go to the steam workshop pages of the mods in question and get the url at the top of the screen. (if you don't see one there, copy it through the right-click menu instead.) take note of the numbers after id=; this is the mod's workshop id. for example, No Default Empires has the id 3458050017. then, find your Stellaris steam workshop folder (probably *\steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990). inside, find the folders matching the earlier workshop ids. in each of those folders, find the folder labeled prescripted_countries and make blank copies of the files inside. put those blank files in your own mod. if you don't know how to make mods, look for the wiki tutorial; won't repeat what's already explained better there.

if your game crashes afterward, replace the blank files with copies of the original files and add the lines "playable = no" and "is_spawn_enabled = no" to each instead. sorry if i'm a bit abrupt; got a headache and the character limit was annoying

Hi! How would I go about adding prescripted empires from *mods* to however this mod works, please? I have three remaining prescripted empires that aren't disabled by this mod, and at least one is definitely from a mod

@Insoulem s'all good. it's easy to misread stuff on the internet. just take a second to reread first next time lol
Insoulum 8 Oct @ 3:17am
@Hatoful Ah, I got it now. I misread that:Pig:, I truly apology. Yes, that thing with changing mod load order allowing selectively disable some empires is useful.
Hatoful Pengu 7 Oct @ 1:24pm
@Insoulem sure, i could. i've been considering getting into Stellaris modding and that would certainly be a low-effort way to start. dunno if i'd bother uploading anything i make, tho. that said, i can't help but read some passive-aggression in that comment. assuming i'm not mistaken, that's a strange thing to direct at a random stranger making a polite suggestion. all i did was give a headsup that this mod doesn't apply to Kek's Origins, point out that people could still keep modded empires by changing their load order, and suggest clarifying the description if they decide not to support removing modded empires. nobody's attacking them or demanding that they support the removal of modded empires; you don't need to get defensive on their behalf, dude.
Insoulum 7 Oct @ 3:40am
@Hatoful why not to do mod by youself, it's not even that hard?
Hatoful Pengu 6 Oct @ 9:01am
it's certainly fair if you want to stick entirely to removing vanilla empires-- trying to remove modded empires as well is a commitment you didn't necessarily ask for-- tho i'd recommend clarifying that in the description since it currently says "all prescripted empires". tho, if you choose to support mods, then anyone who wants to keep those modded prescript d empires could just load this mod above those mods instead of below. or use one of the alternative mods on the workshop ig, since i think most of those don't remove modded empires either.
