Drongos Drone Tweaks

Description
Small drones are harder for the AI to spot (though not impossible). AI automatically deploy recon, FPV and grenade drones. Supports vanilla, Drongo's Artillery, Reaction Forces RC-40s and some [SEAL TEAM] DarkBall drones. Lot's of CBA options and an options module.

There is a readme in the mod folder. This file covers drone behaviour in more detail.

FEATURES
  • Reduces visibility and audibility of small drones. AI can still spot them, but have a harder time doing so.
  • AD can detect drones and engage them.
  • If AI have a recon drone, they will automatically deploy it and receive information about any targets it detects.
  • If AI have suicide or grenade drones, they will automatically deploy them to attack known enemies.
  • If AI have RC-40 drones from Reaction Forces CDLC, they will automatically use them for recon and attack.
  • CBA settings allow for tweaking deployment conditions and drone behaviour.
  • Module for tweaking deployment conditions and drone behaviour.
  • Infoshare module for drone groups to receive targets from other groups.

KNOWN ISSUES
Sometimes FPV and grenade drones take very indirect paths to the target. I have no idea what causes this.

do you know if this is compatible with Antistasi Ultimate? Anyone tested if you install this do the AI spawn with the backpacks and use them?

Open the unit's inventory and add a supported drone in the correct slot.

Description.ext won't work. You'll need to call it with a script from init.sqf. If you don't know how to do that, DM me on steam or discord.

I cant seem to get the jammer to work I put it in the description.ext but nothing happens Im probably doing it wrong but idk what im doing wrong

i dont understand how to get the drones into the ai inventory the backpacks are empty and the other ones from mods i spawn in. i cant group spawned in drones to units so idk. if someone could please help me.

@drongo I tested it with Lambs and the PIR mod, and the bots became more accurate, to the point where they managed to kill me with a single shot from an AKM at a distance of 200-300 meters, but I didn't notice any serious conflicts. However, when it comes to PIR, things get more interesting. At first, AI doesn't really want to heal a player when they are lying unconscious and wounded. They drag other bots away and heal them, but this doesn't always work with players. It works randomly. Once, the game crashed during a mission test with this mod. According to FPS, it became a little lower, but everything seems to be fine. I have an i7 6700, GTX 960 2GB, and 16GB of RAM. The game and mods are on an SSD. Personally, I didn't notice a big difference, but you need to test it. What were your personal performance results in the tests?
