Mod Description

This mod adds a fully playable campaign race of 🦀Crustaceans🦀 to the game.
Featuring:
  • 6 Major Playable factions (each with their own legendary lord and unique campaign mechanics)
  • 5 Minor factions
  • 3 Generic Lords
  • 3 Generic Hero types
  • 30 Units
  • 3 Legendary Heroes

Factions can be individually enabled or disabled by using the Mod Configuration Tool (MCT)

This mod has built in suppot for the following mods:

If you hate sieges I recommend playing with my Siege Remover mod, works for all vanilla and modded factions including this one.

Known Issues/FAQ:

If you want me to answer any of your other questions, go to the discord linked above, you have a way higher chance of getting a reply as I don't reply to steam comments often. (allthou I do read them)

  • The game sometimes stutters for a few frames when loading back in from manual battles, I am not sure what causes this, I'll fix it when I find the cause.
  • The game sometimes has audio errors in battles with many crustacean units, i don't know what the cause is, I'll fix it when I find it.
  • The resource buildings all have the same generic names and descriptions (I may get around to it at some point, but I really don't feel like it right now XD)

I have given every faction custom victory conditions in line with their playstyle and location
I have no interest in devoting development time for more fluffy VC's

Wonderful update! Thank you! Question, regarding victory conditions. Now that the mod author has released a guide on how to add custom VC using the VCO system, will you look to consider adding specialist VC for these factions? I think it would be a fantastic cherry on top to a superb mod!

OvN has a fishmen mod already
I believe there is a guy working on a sharkmen mod
and another dude is making a fishmen race as well

I don't think there is any need for this mod to overlap with existing or upcoming stuff
