Description

Atomics is an experimental mod that adds particle-level nuclear simulation to PPG. (Current Version: 1.1.2)

NOTE: This mod is in an early alpha state! Many things are unfinished, and may be subject to change.

(this and all my other mods are on hiatus cause i DO NOT feel like working on it when i have classes and ♥♥♥♥ going on)

What this mod currently adds:

Radiation spawned by nukes (both passively and on detonation), tritium, and fuel rods
Radiation damage to humans (with radiation poisoning, though it's still not done)
Realistic (ish) material penetration and reflection
Nuclear Meltdown (currently only for fuel rods)
A Geiger Counter and Scintillating Crystal for radiation detection
A HAZMAT suit and helmet, for radiation protection
Interaction with liquids (only Water and Sulfuric Acid for now, Lava tba)
A Steam Turbine and Heat Exchanger for power generation
A syringe with a radiation poisoning cure
A debug tool that lets you make any (or at least most) objects radioactive
(WIP) a custom UI to change mod settings, default key to open is currently semicolon

Features planned to be added:

Liquid nuclear fuel + liquid reactor chamber
Nuclear fuel cells + dedicated reactor for them
More fuel types
More materials, i.e graphite
Decorative objects for reactors
Prompt Criticality (i.e demon core)
Neutron irradiation making things radioactive
Different radiation effects for Androids and Gorses
Fuel reprocessing
(maybe) A crafting system for fuel and some parts (this is a big one, so i may not end up doing it)

i gave a issue where i turn off particles for one thing but now i cant turn it on and i try to change it in the files (yes the window wont pop up again)
