Immersive Camos

Description
This mod changes all camo patterns on military-issue clothing to be as accurate to real life as possible, in terms of both the patterns' structures and colors.
Additionally, an optional submod enables the spawning of other camos that could be seen in the 90s, but which are not available in vanilla Project Zomboid. The submod is not integrated into the main mod so that players have a choice between having just the base game camos, or an even greater variety of camos to loot in the world.

List of vanilla camo patterns covered by this mod:
- U.S. Woodland
- Urban Woodland
- 6-Color Desert
- 3-Color Desert
- Tiger Stripe
- Red Dawn KLMK - new functionality: jacket and trousers reversible to a winter version of the pattern

List of camos covered by Immersive Camos - Period-Accurate Pack*:
- Frogskin - items available: Jacket, Trousers, M1 Helmet; 2 color variants; each item reverses from Jungle to Beach camo
- Mitchell - items available: M1 Helmet; reverses from Summer to Autumn camo
- ERDL - items available: Jacket, Shirt/Blouse, Trousers, Boonie Hat, M1 Helmet; 4 color variants (Lowland, Highland, Transitional, Misprint) + blouses with USMC logo (for all variants except Misprint)

* Contents of this pack will spawn naturally ONLY after enabling it. They can be found exclusively in surplus stores. An exception to this are M1 helmets, which - like vanilla - spawn in a bit greater variety of places.

To be able to utilize full resolution textures, you must change maximum texture resolution to at least 1024 pixels in the game's settings. Setting the resolution to more than 1024 pixels will not make any difference, as the textures are all 1024x1024 px or, in case of some items, lower.

IMPORTANT! Availabile content differs between B41 and B42. B41 lacks all vanilla camos below 6-Color Desert (+ 6-CD items added with B42), as well as M1 helmets (and thus, the Mitchell patterns altogether). B42 contains all content listed in the description.
Enabling the Immersive Camos - Build 41 Pack will add most of the items that didn't exist back in B41, however it doesn't include all content added with B42. This pack also contains OD green items.

It's not that I can't, it's just something that doesn't align with my goals. Backporting content is also undermining the idea of playing on newer game versions, because if you backport things, what's the incentive to play with them on a newer version of the game?

dude I know you probably cant but making a mod of somekind that ports m1 pot helmets to b41 would be an actual lifesaver.. there are like 2 mods in total that actually have m1 helmets in total and both of them are innacurate and suck

Yes, no desert camo helmets in B41 (off the top of my head). IIRC I only ported surplus items like Tiger Stripe etc. to B41

Yes, M1 helmets are naturally in B42. They're very rare, but they're absolutely there. Vanilla only has a dark green skin for it though

Through the "Build 41" pack I already backported some of B42's unique content, however I didn't include any new models. You see, I'm trying to stay as true to vanilla as possible, and backporting content from a newer version - and I mean, any content, be it textures OR models - is already against my design ideas (devs didn't add it, so why should I?).
So tl;dr the M1 helmet's model was added with B42 => no backporting models (also means no ALICE webbing in B41). If it was a matter of copy-pasting a texture into the B41 file directory I'd do it, but it's more than that and may be prone to issues, if models need more than just their FBX (iirc) file.
