Campaign Order

You'll read the Journals of each protagonizing team leader.
  1. Hopeless (The metro reeks of rot. Brenda’s team is late. God’s testing us. The train’s our Exodus—“By faith Abraham… obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.” Hebrews 11:8. But the walls whisper. They’re coming. I’ll burn this city myself if He asks.)- Jason.
  2. Plan B (City’s carcass picked clean. Found a man in the wreck. Eyes hollow, like mine. Let him join. Rules? God’s rules now. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked.” Jeremiah 17:9. Jason’s silent. Let him rot. The base will be ours.)- Brenda.
  3. Death Row (Brenda’s gone. Pilot demanded the train. Gave it. Judas kissed for silver; I trade steel for wings. “The wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23. Chopper’s blades sound like locusts. Let the horde feast on his lies.)- Jason.
  4. Dead Flag Blues 2 (Found the intel. Jason’s alive. Pilot’s deal stinks of sulfur. We’ll storm the base without him. “Vengeance is mine, I will repay.” Romans 12:19. Let the neuro-toxin purge the faithless. Even him.)- Brenda.
  5. No Parking (Garage swallowed us. Stranger’s back. Cleaver in his hand. Smiles like Dad did before—“The wicked man… plots evil with deceit in his heart.” Psalm 36:1-4. Shot him. Twice. Still twitching. God forgives. I don’t.)- Brenda.
  6. Overkill (Poison rains. Streets melt. Radioed the military—told them we’re “allies.” “Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14. Let the toxin cleanse the flock. Brenda’s out there. She’ll see.)- Jason.
  7. ZMB-13 (No cure. Just death in vials. Laughed until I vomited. “The Lord has done what he planned.” Lamentations 2:17. Infected the lab. Let the death baptize this hell.)- Jason.
  8. Derailed (Shot Jason’s chopper. Watched it crash. Hermit found us—offered a cabin. “The righteous will live by faith.” Faith in what? Let the woods bury us.)- Brenda
  9. Heaven Can Wait II (Stole the bird. Storm coming. Brock screamed—then the thing in the cargo hold unstitched itself. Teeth like railroad spikes. Cure. We spun into the woods. Found the bunker. Cure. ‘For-... are dust... And...)- Jason.
  10. Fall In Death (The pilot’s name was Eli. Found him in a church steeple, praying over a chopper. Promised us the mountains. Halfway there, he tore at his wrist—bite mark, fresh. Begged us to keep going. I put a bullet in his skull mid-flight. We crashed into snowdrifts, his blood blooming crimson on ice. The cabin stood ahead, door ajar. No firewood. No seeds. Just silence. The others pray. I don’t. “There is no peace for the wicked.” Isaiah 48:22. But we’re here. Alive. Monsters at the foot of the mountain, sins at our backs. We’ll rot in this quiet. Deserve it...)- Brenda.
