Description
"A mad scientist? No, a Wizard. You underestimate my power, my knowledge... and my madness."


Summary

Electro Mage is an offensive psi Secondary Spec that has revels in dealing consistent damage on cooldowns. It comes with some supporting shocking skills to help allies stay concealed, or awaken.


Skills

Shock Low Deck(Squaddie & Sergeant)
These abilities are simple and straight forward
  • Storm Shock = A Jolt that bounces up to one extra enemy and deals extra damage to robots.
  • Static Shock = A jolt that has long cooldown and targets a random enemy, but is a free action. Can bounce once.
  • Storm Surge = A low range electrifying cone that is strong versus robitic.
  • Void Shock = Similar to Storm Shock, doesnt' deal extra damage to robots. If using with Psionic Ex Machina, this skill doesn't cost Will.
  • Electric Loop = A VERY low damage jolt that bounces once. Applies Electroshock, which has a chance of stunning enemies and dealing damage if stunning.
Shock And Awe deck(Corporal, Lieutenant & Major)
Supporting skills and passives
  • Stimulate = Stimulate an adjacent ally, removing Unconscious, Panic, Disorient and Stuns.
  • LightningReflexes = Avoid the first reaction attack every turn.
  • ECM = Reduce all allies' detection radius by 10%.
  • Unshakable Will = Is not affected by Stuns, Disorient and other mentaly disabling effects.
  • Shock Shoulder = Immune to Electric damage, Takes less damage from Electroshocked enemies, even less from Robotics.
Shock High Deck(Colonel)
High damage skills that vary in use and circumstances
  • Lash Out = Deals electric damage over a moderate area around the user.
  • Thunderstorm = A point and click thunder that deals damage over an area.
  • Void Lightning = A point and click chaining electric attack that deals damage over multiple targets in a wide area.
Shock Capstone Deck(Brigadier)
Strong passive skills to complement Electro Wizard either offensively or defensively.
  • Cloud Cover = Create a small area of smoke after using any offensive electric psi skill
  • Storm Force = Electric psi skills deal 30% more damage.

Balance and Ideology

A simple spec. Very strong early game, falls a little midgame, and gets back up lategame. Albeit it's strongest early, consistent, guaranteed damage is the best at that stage of the game.
I... just wanted to make an eletric mage, there is no deep ideology, a simple madman with simple mad dreams. Who knew accidentally frying up their own brain wasn't the best idea.

it seems to be an ATSR thingy, i'll add Psiamps to the possible weapons

Thank you for the mod! IIRC, Lash Out requires shard gauntlets or something like that, which my character could not equip, so the perk was permanently dead. At least that's what the description claimed, I haven't gotten far enough to test it.
