Description
Semi funtional light mech designed for WW 1 & 2, based off the PZM-7 "Smialy" from Iron Harvest. Originating pre-war as a cheap commercial mechanized tractor, when it was converted over to military use there was not only already large stockpiles to draw from & trained personnel, but industry & pre-established productions lines. There was also wide spread knowledge of how to maintain them and an abundance of spare parts. This meant that despite the Jacks not having much armour & ill suited for the rough frontline conditions, they would none the less become the most common light mech used by Allied forces, used for a variety of tasks. The standard Mk II Jack mech get its name from their most common civilian duty as lumberjack and most have retained, or been modified to include, the buzz saw of the original design for use crude but effective melee weapon for close quarters. Despite the lack of armour its quick speeds, small size, and ability to carry & use heavy weapons on the move that would need a crew & static firing position when used by infantry. As a result they would be used in a variety of roles such as screening larger mechs from infantry, mobile heavy weapon platforms, long range heavy scouts, and even construction vehicles for assault engineers. The Mk III Jack was introduced as a upgrade to the Mk II, the only difference is that it is slightly taller to help with trench warfare.

NOTE: WW1 versions only carry HE while WW2 versions carry AP & HE ammunition.

Questions & Answers
Q: Why isn't this "mod" showing in the launcher/ how to spawn it?
A: This isn't a "mod", its just a composition, and wont show in your launcher. You'll find this composition in the editor, once there you need to press the groups key or F2 then click on the composition icon. last pic in the slideshow above will show were that is.

Q: Why is it spawning all broken up?
A: You need to click off Vertical Mode & Surface Snapping before spawning any comp, last pic above shows were to find it. Also rotating it in the editor can cause it to come apart.

Q: Why so many mods?
A: vurtual's Car Seat & Stretcher is only needed for the taller mk 3 version
PLP all in one interchangeable with PLP materials if desired
TIOW2, There is Only War Mod, & Armory of House Terryn are needed for the guns ( i liked the way they looked upscaled ) though can be replaced with any weapon desired just click on the pylon attachment.
The rest are needed to make the mech itself.


Known Bugs & Issues
- Breaks if rotated in editor
- AT rifle should be a 20mm, but all the 20mm weapons i could find had too high a rate of fire
- Automatic shooting via gun UAV, point gun at enemy & it'll handle the rest. Control weapons directly with UAV terminal if needed. It will prioritize the closest enemy.
- Player only ? ( It seems the ATRT from 3AS used as a base is needs a player to operate, despite being unit not a "vehicle" maybe im missin somthin)
- They cant die,only disabled, so no wreck on death
- Mk3 can only be used in 3rd person
- Very easy to get shot in the head threw the glass
- Drivers pop outside armour in a dash
- AT version sometimes fires twice despite having a bolt action AT rifle
