So can I kindly ask you to ignore the fact that I put 2 disclaimers in every mods I published? I surely know it has nothing to do with you at all so please don’t interfere, I’ll deal with whatever happens by myself

Because if they do, they will see it's a CC4.0 license. Also, you did *not* follow the original CC4.0 guidelines either, as while you did give proper credit to the creator and indicate whether changes where made to it, you failed to link to the license, which is specifically required to lawfully use teh content so if Tony wanted, they could take your Mod down too.. realistically that won't happen because they make free models on sketchfab and probs don't care, but it's scary how confident people are to be wrong.

Anyways- if all you did was compile CC4.0 licensed content, you have no ownership of the mod. Anyone can reupload modify or reuse it, and even if Steam may take it down, the other person is legally in the right. If they actually disputed the claim, they could win.

Well like I said "if all you did was compile it", plus I'm not referring to assets you purchased, specifically just ones publically available under CC4.0 like TastyTony's assets in this one are. Also while Steam may take the mod down, as soon as someone disputes the claim (which they don't because they don't care enough / don't know better) THEY actually do have the legal grounds to do so. And that's the point where Steam will (hopefully) actually look at the copyright of the original content.

Not to mention that I usually check back those I reported before when am bored or something go mass searching on steam workshop, sometimes even on sites like gamemap or gamebanana

Actually I can, and I also had some situations like people reused my stuff without asking me, not the animation of course, but the models, some of them I bought on 3d model websites and it surely has something to do with my permission. I did find some people took my stuff without asking me before, and my solution was simple, just report them. Steam will pretty much take them down soon enough and of course I do check it frequently. I understand the rules well enough, if I ever used parts of someone else’s work which they mentioned to ask for their permission, I would ask, if they don’t reply for a long time I’ll just go for something else
