Turtle's World Flooder

Description
This simple, silly mod adds a command to flood most of your world with water.

Usage Instructions
- Singleplayer: Open chat in-game and type the command '/floodtheworld'. The game will freeze for a while as the world is flooded.
- Multiplayer: Run the 'floodtheworld' command from the server console. The server will become unresponsive for a while as the world is flooded.

NEW! Optionally specify a fluid type to flood the world with. Available fluids are 'water', 'lava', 'honey' and 'shimmer'.
You can also instead provide 'all' to receive a layered flood with water on top, followed by honey, then lava, then shimmer.
For example, /floodtheworld lava

The flooding parameters are configurable. Please check the config before flooding your worlds!
I highly suggest using the command on new worlds only.

Notes and warnings
- Flooding is NOT reversible!
- You may experience lag spikes when the game settles large amounts of fluids.
- Worlds with lots of fluid will take a long time to load.
- In multiplayer, the 'floodtheworld' command may only be run from the server console.
- Flooding will also place fluid inside of solid blocks, but will not replace existing fluids (shimmer, honey, lava). Note that Terraria will clear fluids inside of blocks after a world reload.

That isn't a lot of info to go off of. Some common things to check:
- Check you're running v0.9 of the mod.
- Check you're using the command correctly. Some examples of proper usage are:
/floodtheworld
/floodtheworld lava

If it still don't work, providing the error you're getting would help a lot~

it wont work for me

I managed to figure out that a lot of the issues people were having with the command throwing invalid usage errors was actually due to an out-of-index error under the hood. Should be fixed now in the latest version!
Also, the Surface Adjustment config should behave a bit more logically now- there was a math issue causing it to not work properly on the above ground section of the world, resulting in a lot more of the surface being flooded than intended.

Yeah, default config will work pretty well for most worlds. Some worlds can generate a bit lower or higher on average than others though.
If you set Above Surface Percentage to 50, you are basically telling the mod: "Flood half of the world above the underground layer with water".

No idea about the usage bug though... seems like it might be a mod conflict, although I haven't encountered mods breaking / commands myself before. Curious to know what the fix was to get the command working~

Oh, never mind. I had set the aboveground percent to 50. When I just accepted all the defaults it worked like a charm and is giving me more or less what I wanted. Cool. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem as Witch Queen Blood Foxxy, but I don't understand how she fixed it. I go to chat, and type `/floodtheworld water` and just get the usage message and no flooding. I have no idea what "Gravity doesn't flip the screen mod" means.

Oh, how strange 🤔
Glad to know you've found the culprit though. Seems weird to me that such a mod would cause issues with a command...
