Kerbin Airspace is considered to be 1 million kilometers beyond MINMUS Orbit, the edge of Kerbin's Gravitational Field is it's Theater of Operations.

The TIGER CLAW is a Kerbal Spacecraft Carrier. It has a MAKO Deep Space ION/NUKE X-Wing, a K-38si ION Reentry Vehicle, and a K-38 Spaceplane as it's compliment. There is a 5 Kerbal Escape/Reentry Capsule with Parachutes and a Heat Shield. It's Wide Track design makes it ideal for pushing things around.
It's designed to patrol all Kerbin Airspace out to and into the Asteroid Belt.
It comes with a *Hands Free Auto Orbit Launch Sequence* as an Action Group ... and lots of Fireworks for knocking Asteroids around with. There are several Action Groups for the Fireworks as well. The Clamps come in handy for grabbing other Spacecraft or small Asteroids. The Clamp on the MAKO X-Wing makes parking easy when returning to the TIGER CLAW, just clamp it on someplace. It's ideal for chasing down small targets. It can depart the TIGER CLAW while in Orbit around Kerbin and easily go Interplanetary, it is a Spacecraft in it's own right.
There's a Piston on the TIGER CLAW's Nose Claw so that both Clamps can be used in conjunction if desired.
*to use the Auto Orbit Launch Sequence turn SAS and RCS on, then go full Throttle and use the Action Group.*

MAKO ION X-Wing
Long Range Interceptor rated as "Next Planet Over" the Electrical System is Balanced so as to run the IONs wide open non stop.
For at least 8 hours plus, it's hard to calculate ....
If the NUKEs are ran at the absolute minimum (limiter), just so they are running, it adds efficiency to the system and the XENON Gas drain is almost nothing when cruising at optimum. 10%(NUKES) is a happy medium and gives good overall range and performance.
It's got enough Burn Time on the NUKEs to Capture or Escape Planetary Orbits with ease, push out and start Maneuvers, multiple times. It's an endurance runner.
Docking is a ♥♥♥♥♥, forget about it ... just clamp it.
It's also useful in retrieving wayward K-38's that find themselves stranded in orbit.

It is a Deep Space Space Craft and not intended for use in the Kerbin Atmosphere.

The K-38's ...
They do not need a Runway and can land just about anywhere.
Any Kerbal can Fly them, they have a Guidance System.

The K-38 has over 45 minutes of Flight Time once in the Atmosphere, watch you Oxidizer level in Space, suggest manually switching Engine Mode as a precaution. It's just to much fun to leave at Home. Great for Checking out Kerbin Prime.

The K-38si is your typical 6-Million Dollar Man Reentry Vehicle, but I made it better, faster, stronger .. and added some Landing Gear.
It's fun to Zig Zag around Moons with and is capable of returning to Kerbin from either Moon on it's own.

MAKO #4, 5, & 6 =(Missile Spread)


It is recommended that active duty Space Kerbal's become familiar with the
Standard K-38 Spaceplane.
