Oh wow, that'd be awesome. Assault class is my favorite in Space Marine 2 and I'm close to finishing a 7 hour video on the Siege of Vraks, where Red Scorpion Assault Marines help turn the tide of an important battle.
Though your mod affects more factions that just the Guard, so I think I'll finish my current game and swap over to yours, have a play around with that :)

Maybe you oughta try checking to make sure that the Thunderbolt Fury is in the Aircraft.xml.ext file? I don't know why it wouldn't be, but it looks like that's where the problem is stemming from.

Another cool idea for the Space Marine component of your mod, which I haven't seen anyone do, would be to add weapon variations for the Assault Space Marines. As they are now, with the bolt pistols, they're unfortunately a little lackluster compared to what they're actually capable of in lore. Changing the melee weapons (I imagine) would be a lot more difficult though compared to switching to a plasma pistol or hand flamer or something.
