F-107 Caracara

What the F_CK is a kilometer

Description
Like the A-106, this plane had been sitting in my folder for months prior to the release (ex: I upgraded the radar array from Smithys V1 to Smithys V2 in the last few days before release) so it might be lacking in some ways. In 1968, CWDG used the studies of recent global conflicts to create a new earth-shattering interceptor that could be used in a variety of roles and have a highly advanced set of systems for multiuse scenarios which it was expected to perform in. Fast forward approximately 8 years later in 1976 and the F-107 Caracara was built. Since a highly similar aircraft named the Eagle (definitely not an F-15 reference) was built around the same time it was named the Caracara, also known as the Mexican Eagle, to advertize the similarity between the two. The Caracara wasn't extremely popular due to it's high operating costs, but it was used by a few countries for various roles and is still in use today. The F-107 depicted here is one from Air Battalion 72 "Tasca Killers" which was a small specialized air intercept squadron operated by the Sazilian Air Force from 1976 - 2004. This specific F-107 was retired in 1991 and has been sitting in various airfields as use for training purposes.
Smithy's TWS V2
The radar array provided here is made by discord/steam user smithy3141. Their new radar system provided most of the necessary parts for an F-15 clone and the specific set used allows for the tracking of up to 14 seperate targets in TWS mode, which allows for all 14 of those targets to be simultaneously engaged by weapons that are guided by the radar's signals. For more comprehensive detail about the systems, I suggest you contact Smithy or anyone else familiar with their radar systems.

General Performance
Airspeed: 238 M/S, or 0.69 Mach. Fairly maneuverable 12 Hardpoints Primitive but functionable targeting pod One internally mounted xml machine gun. 200 Chaff TWS Radar (14 trackable targets) Note that the aircraft was designed in a high physics and low lag environment so it may suffer under tight performance expectations.

It's a loadout that is designed primarily around the idea of CAS but also fitted with plenty of anti-aircraft equipment for this role.

If I did please let me know in the description. I made the weapons, they're part of a CWDG "weapons pack" that will be uploaded soon I would also like to thank users Weee and Zeek for helping me test the capabilities of the aircraft. Zeek also rendered the jet in Blender a few times to prepare it for workshop status. Le discord: https://discord.gg/SzRZn7FnEb

UPDATE: Loadout modernized. CBU-1000s replaced with MICA-EMs. GBU-2000R/A removed. LAU-3s replaced with Kh-29TDs. HOBS Compatibility on the six hardpoints used for air-to-air weapons installed.

UPDATE: TWS Radar range was increased from 7.3km to 20km for maximum effectiveness.

Oh bet. Will probably be modifying range for longer target engagement radius in that case

 No problem. Feel free to change the radar settings though (normally the radar only looks above the horizon), just make sure to set the phalanx sweep_speed to 4 in the xml.

@SMITHY TWS Issue should be fixed. Thanks for the help

Bruh. Lemme fix rq. Thanks for the response

btw the tws won't be working at 100% since it looks like it lost it's xml properties. Like the phalanx I have on the WS has been xml edited to spin faster (and in the microcontroller the period of the radar has been set to 52 ticks, normally the period is like 209 ticks). It might do some whack stuff with how it's set up atm
