HL1 + HL2 Zombie Sounds Remix

Description
This mod remixes the sounds of headcrab zombies by mixing the default tracks with sounds from Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2.

NOTE: Zombies interrupting themselves and cutting off their own sound effects is normal. That is what Black Mesa does by default and it seems to be hard-coded, so I can't change it.

The zombie sound script has also been updated. Be wary of compatibility issues with other mods that change zombie sounds or scripts -- model and texture replacements should be fine.

I always thought the default zombies in this game sounded kind of wimpy, but I'm happy with how this mod turned out. I wanted to help Black Mesa's zombies pay tribute to the original Half-Life games while still keeping their own unique "flavor" intact. Enjoy!

P.S. The weapon mods in the demonstration video are HL2-Style Crowbar (No Camera Shake + Slower Swing) and HL1 Weapon Sounds Remix, both by me.

@ Matt

Actually, I don't think I changed the sounds for burning zombies. I might get around to that someday.

Does this also have sounds where the enemy is on fire?

I'd like to hear them mixed in with "YABBA! MY ICING! YAAAAAAAAAARGH!" (One of the fire noises from a zombie on HL2)

@ pasta864

I like to imagine it's the headcrab mouth and the human mouth working at the same time. Headcrabs do make noise, after all.

You should update the HL1 zombie sounds using the Full Audio Remaster mod.

@23-Down

If you're referring to the fact that zombies interrupt themselves and cut off their own sound effects, I mentioned in the description that this seems to be a Black Mesa issue and not something I can fix. Zombies always do that by default.
