Rainworms Re-Texture

This is sort of a little passion project, I love the Kingsmouth map so I decided to make a plague specific to the island.
This has been in the works for awhile and it was the entire reason I made the Waterborne mod.

June 26th, 1993

Hell yeah, after years of saving money. I finally saved up enough to book a trip to Kingsmouth.
Sunny skies and tequila for me. I finally get to use that vacation.

July 1st, 1993

This place is beautiful, I got a nice room on the top floor.
We got a News broadcast.
"A massive storm has formed over the Yucatan Peninsula, and is moving towards the Caribbean Sea. This storm will pass over The Cayman Islands, on it's way to Kingsmouth where it is likely to die down. Shelter in your homes. The storm will pass."
Not exactly the sunny resort trip I had hoped for.
Luckily the resort gave everyone an extra day, given the circumstance.
I guess they really didn't want people to start packing up and leaving.

July 2nd, 1993
The Cayman Islands seemed to get the worst of it.
It lasted all day. Now that the storm has died down, everything has pretty much gone back to normal.
Everyone is still a bit shook of course, there wasn't much damage, but the storm wasn't pleasant to say the least.
Regardless, the resort was back up and running, people returned to work, and celebrities are basking on the beaches again.
At least I can finally enjoy my vacation.

July 5th, 1993

Everyone had a pretty scary 4th of July.

The beach has been closed for swimming, there was an incident. A fisherman died on the shore yesterday. Me, and a few others walked to the clinic for help. One of the doctors got a pretty good look at him before the soldiers showed up. He had no eyes, and their neck was covered in awful green cysts. It looked like something was squirming inside them, just beneath the surface. His body was completely hollow, no organs, shredded flesh hanging out of his mouth, his bones broken, from his chest up to his face.

A bloody trail led from his body into the water.

Since then men in bulky white suits have been all over the island, taking samples of the water, and the corpse.
They politely told me they couldn't answer my questions, the soldiers were less polite.
The Airbase looks like a kicked anthill, something really isn't right.
I'm getting on the next boat out of here tomorrow.

July 8th, 1993

They locked down the docks, wont let me, or anyone else leave the island. We are on full quarantine, some kinda disease. Strange fish have been washing up, all of them look half eaten. Their insides are covered in what look like slimy eggs.
The fish squirm, but there is no way they are alive.
More bodies are on the beach, more every day. I'm not feeling too good, I should have left yesterday.

July 9th, 1993

I can feel something tearing at my insides. I can hear it chittering again, and again.
My throat hurts so much, so dry.
The water from the tap isn't quenching my thirst.


Tonight I dreamt of the sea.
