This is one of the first mods I made to learn, and while it's by no means perfect, it still needs some cleanup!


Expansion AI Damage handling:

Expansion AI can be used and also respects players state and there are following settings:
  • Ai to Player damage everywhere
  • Player to AI damage everywhere
  • Player to AI Damage only if player has PvP or PvE or Raid state
  • Ai to Player Damage only if player has PvP or PvE or Raid state

Own logging System
6 Logging Levels: Debug, Warning, Critical, Kills/Deaths, Everything..

Custom Zones
Create PVP/PVE/Raid/Safe zones using circles, polygons, with a prio system and its own force first person settings.

Flag Pole Zones
Create PVP/PVE/Raid zones using FlagPoles, on specific days, if flag is lowered or raised or even always create a Zone..infos can be found in configs explained.

Raid Zones
Only Players GUIDs listed in MainConfig can enter these zones, others will get a bleeding cut penalty every 5-10 seconds good for event raiding and applications to the event.

Anti-Afk System
Can be configured in Main Configs to be on/off and the time when to kick. Admins wont be kicked or notified.
Timer gets reset on:
  • On Movement Changed
  • On Inventory Menu Open
  • On Inventory Menu Close
  • On Aim Changed
  • On Stance Change

No Vehicle Zones
In your Zones.json you can set for each Zone if vehicles should be disallowed, disallowed vehicles can be set in ItemRules you can use ClassNames or BaseClass.
In the Mainconfig.json you can decide what to damage for example:

  • DestroyVehicleParts: ["Engine"]
  • RemoveVehicleAttachments: ["HatchbackWheel","HeadlightH7"]
  • DestroyVehicleCargo: ["CarBattery","AmmoBox"]

Polygon Zones
Create PVP zones with multiple vertices (more than 4) for more precise boundaries. This way you can draw any zone shape you like.

Visual Zones only
Create Visual Zones only wich do respect your global PvE or PvP behavior. So you can add no Build Zones just Visual on Map for Example.

Safe Zones
Create Safe Zones they kinda work like Expansion SafeZones, if you want to also fully protect Vehicles inside SafeZones you will need also my Vehicles Mod.

Lockpicking Zones
Create PvP Zones if a player does lockpick a Vehicle and Broadcast it with Notification and Broadcast Radius (Reuires Expansion Vehicles).

forceFirstPerson
Each Zone can be set to forceFirstPerson or not.

ThirdPersonOnlyDriver
Decide if the Driver (1 Seat ) should be forced first person or not even if forceFirstPerson is set to 1.

PVP Zone Damage Reflection
Prevent boundary exploits by reflecting damage back at players outside the zone.
Players inside a zone won’t take reflection damage when shooting at players outside.

Timed PvP-PvE-Raid Zones
Schedule zones to be active only at specific times/days, ideal for event-based servers.

Timed Global PvP-PvE
Schedule Global PvE/PvP only on specific days. (Zones always take over global )

Admin Reload
Adjust zone settings and reload them in real-time via hotkeys, no server restart needed.

Multiple AI & Player damage rules:
(PvP/PvE/Raid status-dependent, reworked Damage System)

Grenades / Mines
You can use Grenades and Mines with this mod which PVEZ does not support for example.

  • Upon server start, the mod will create a folder named NinjinsPvPPvE inside your server’s profile folder.
  • Configure your zones and settings through the generated configuration files in this folder.
  • Each server start generates a unique Log file in the logging folder.
  • Admin commands allow you to adjust and reload every setting without restarting the server (First admin needs to be added before Server start once). You can find it in your Keybinds > NinjinsPvPPvE. There is also an Hotkey for an Admin Menu with Zone-Editor In-Game.














All Mods that are Optional when they are not used result in configurations do not apply!
  • NO Expansion Core loaded = No stylish fancy Notifications, only default once.
  • NO Expansion AI loaded = AI Settings with this mod do nothing
  • NO Expansion GROUPS loaded = GROUPS Settings with this mod do nothing
  • NO Expansion Vehicles loaded = No Lockpicking Zones if player doe slockpick a Vehicle
  • NO Expansion Missions loaded = No Airdrop Zones
I recommend you to install Dayz-Expansion Bundle!
But you dont need to install Expansion at all!

Note: Dynamic zone settings only take effect if the zone is freshly created after a reload (i.e., not already present on the map) or after a server restart.

Please tell me.
When a helicopter crashes, a PVP zone appears around it and the view is only FPP. How can I make it TPP?
In other PVP zones it's TPP, this problem only with helicopters.

Fantastic mod even if you just use the polly areas for zones , very easy to achieve complex shaped areas , not to mention all the other settings that’s available for events

This only happens if you mess up the JSON syntax, like missing a comma or formatting it incorrectly. There's a video about it on my YouTube and Discord.

I love this mod but i am having trouble. Every time i follow your guide to add a polygon, then hit the reload zones button, the mod completely removes ALL of my zones I have created. Any help is appreciated.

You can become a translator in my Discord and get access to the translation spreadsheet, that's possible. However, I won’t accept auto-translations, because not everything can be translated 1:1.

Unfortunately, in the fourth row of stringtable.csv, the English translation is used instead of German. I don’t understand English. If I provide the German translation, could you include it in the next update?

Please join the Discord for help and issues. Also, make sure every zone has a unique name and use "displayname" for showing the name on the map. Each zone needs a unique name; otherwise, it causes issues. Each zone also has its own enter and exit notifications. All information is documented in the Wikipedia, on Discord, and even on my YouTube channel.

Hello, great mod, but not sure if it intentional but when entering a PVP zone it shows the exit notification but the timer is fixed (as there is no timer on entering a zone, works fine on exiting. Can a separate notification be displayed on entering a PVP zone?
