RTBF November-Seven

Description
November-Seven is a MACV SOG target area located within the Command and Control Central (CCC) AO, just SW of the area famously known as "The Golf Course".

Features
* Terrain size - 10x10km.
* ~3,000,000 objects.
* Designed with long-range recon patrolling in mind.
* Extensive trail system for the recon teams to discover.
* Thick jungle and a very large elephant grass field.
* A simple launch site that can easily be removed by mission makers on a large flat area.
* A few LZs distributed throughout the terrain for those recon teams running for their lives.
* SOG Prairie Fire assets were used which have delivered a more optimized experience.

Acknowledgements
* Recon Team Blackfoot for being the best group of "Recon Weirdos" a dude could ask for. Without them I doubt I would find the motivation to even attempt a project of this magnitude.
* ArdvarkDB - Without him I would have never been able to wrap my head around the basics of Arma modding.
* Fox - He has provided valuable advice throughout the process and helped me bring this to a releasable state.
* Taro - Pointed me in the right direction to begin creating terrains for Arma 3 and provided valuable advice throughout the process.

* SOG Prairie Fire Team - They created this wonderful Vietnam sandbox for us to enjoy and allowed me to use their assets in my creations. These assets really helped make the terrain just that much cooler and, more importantly, optimized.
* The Arma3 Terrain Makers Discord Channel - There is a wealth of knowledge in that channel and it helped guide me through some of the steps that have less available documentation.

I love this map. Just spent a super fun and intense hour running my SOG AI ARVN SF team with a couple tracker modules. The dense jungle makes for intense close encounters. Break Contact!!! I'm really looking forward to that more river oriented map you're working on!

Now THIS is a truly SOG map: dense terrain, few LZs, nothing marked on the map, and the FOB in the corner of the map. Very well done!

This is a gorgeous map, you should be really proud of your work on this!
I will say, the only thing that catches me, is how clean cut the LZs are. Maybe consider some Craters, like a daisycutter was dropped, or backed down trees on the outside. Perhaps natural clearings with smaller foliage and reeds that you can land on.

It's up to you, but with the incredible detail put into this, they just really stand out as not as well loved points.

Also, and this is very much a personal request. Either underground tunnel systems or some rock formations. Specifically NOT the ones with fortifications in them, but stuff that we can, if we want, swap out for the one that actually have said fortifications.
The point is to give players creative capability without it being a sudden "Oh look, there's rocks there, that means there's NVA there" if we add them. Make sense?

Anyway, it's your map and by god it's gorgeous. You have done incredible work

this terrain will have you hugging the ground when you find contacts , interesting how a terrain with literally 6 buildings can be so much better then many of the DLC terrains , as it turned out we've been starving for a real jungle map , others have tried but really fail to create that claustrophobic feeling that a real jungle provides , bayonets finally have a use in arma as a feasible weapon on this terrain , a simple scenario with two teams and only 2 waypoints can go from a straight forward death match into a cluster fuck , im thoroughly impressed , excellent work !

I like how dense the foliage is. Havnt tested with AI, and would probably be difficult to use them, but would be cool to make a coop mission or two to play with friends. Very cluttered and cant see shit more than 20 meters away, just like I’ve read about.

@dudes speaking Spanish, I won't make a version without a requirement for SOG PF as I have used their assets being that they were optimized for such dense foliage. The fixes to the geometry lods alone make theses assets completely worth the requirement. Also, y'all should just buy the CDLC during the Winter Sale as it is totally awesome...(I might have a bit of bias)

@MaxHardcore, I suggest turning down your view distance while playing on this terrain. My group has used this and all members have reported great frames on all of our missions so far. There really isn't anywhere on this terrain that would allow you to observe something more than 1,000 meters away, and those are just a limited number of hilltops in the grass area. Inside the jungle or in most of the grass area you shouldn't need more than 500-700 meters view distance.
I would try adjusting those first because you're the first report of low frames; however, we do play exclusively on jungle maps and are used to running a lower VD.

Can we get a low foilage version? I Play Cam Lo and the stock maps no problem but this taxes my whole system unfortunately. Performance Mod mod only getting 20fps as well. had the same issue with cambodia map too till they re-released their map.
