Description


Trails (軌跡) TRADING CARD GAME

Trails, known as 軌跡 (Kiseki) in Japan, is a series of science fantasy role-playing video games by Nihon Falcom.

Kiseki Trading Card Game’s release commemorates the 20th Anniversary of the Trails series. These cards feature iconic characters, places, and events straight from the fan-favorite video games such as Estelle and Joshua.

Since these cards are currently only available in Japanese and have physical limitations, we have translated and made it easy to get started playing on Tabletop Simulator. We use both machine assisted and manual translation, so while there is heavy editing and cross-referencing the original, there may be some mistakes we missed. If you encounter any errors, please let us know.

We are unaffiliated with Nihon Falcom Corporation and TCG Corp. and are simply making this for us and other fans to enjoy. We'll continue updating this workshop mod as new cards and rules are released.

Is there any place where you can post about mistranslations?
I only own card from Series 2, so I'm not that knowledgeable about Series 1 or Series 3.

But for example the "Estelle Bright Card (01-021)" in your comparision should say "Target defending Unit in combat".
The biggest mistranslation (except the "Eliott Craig (02-021)" that is already adressed in the document) that I've seen is "Laura S. Arseid [Swordswoman] (02-104)", which should actually say something like "When this Unit stuns a Unit without [Martial Arts], target 1 Unit controlled by your opponent with CP cost equal to the stunned card and stun that target."

There is a translation error in the deck construction rules. In particular, the second point for Strategy Battle:
"You can have up to four cads with the same name or sub-name in your deck."
"Or" should be "and".
