Acid Reflux

Description
When faced with the reality that he's on his last year of high school, Damien finds himself forced to question the decisions he's made up to that point. Has he spent his school life well? Can he make up for it now? These are things he has to find out on his very own.

Acid Reflux is a self-contained story mod for IWHTG focused on Damien, who I found to be a fun character that was sidelined way too much in the main plot. I mostly wrote this for fun and to get some experience with visual novel writing and coding so don't get your expectations for the writing up.

Currently Acid Reflux has one chapter with ~30 minutes of content.

This mod changes the default _phone screen definition, and as such won't be compatible with any other mod that does.

Since this is my first mod ever, criticism is not only welcome but encouraged.
I'd love to hear people's thoughts on the mod, positive or otherwise.
It's also worth mentioning I'm the farthest possible from a visual artist. Sorry to say this mod won't feature any original CGs unless some kind soul would like to offer help.

Nice! Really cool mod. Honestly I can't wait to see more if any even if it felt a bit stretched out for a first day, but I get where it's coming from. Just seeing the events of the game through different lens is really cool.

Just finished my first run through, and I'm super impressed with this mod. I love that Damien is getting his own plot with its own stakes, and it isn't just playing second fiddle to the main plot. It's a self-contained story that I'm already becoming incredibly invested in.

I've done a bit of proofreading for one of the other workshop mods here (the red pen mod, if you're wondering), so if that's something you're interested in having help with, I'm more than happy to help. Again, super great mod and I'm looking forward to both replaying it and seeing what content is to come.

This was pretty fun! I was pleasantly surprised by how engaged I was throughout the whole mod. It's really nice to see more stuff about Damien and Liz, it's something I did not know I would enjoy so much.
In regards to criticism, I can only say that I felt like there was a little too much silence. Maybe that's more of a personal thing though? I highly enjoyed everything else though, and I am hoping that there'll be more! :gatordoll:

PLEASE keep making more of this. I love Damien and Liz. Need about 20 more chapters as Armorchin said. It's so good and great quality! :gatorhappy:
