Description
"Beren's Bloodbath", the name needs no explanation. I take heavy inspiration from my childhood and have recreated missions from that time.

Many of my early missions Ostfront/Bloodbath missions are outdated due to recent updates to Soviet uniforms & equipment. Those missions took so long and include so many random squad types that I really do not wish to update them, I apologize. However, I am looking towards rectifying this by creating another large gift that will replace my previous Berlin missions.

The WW1 part of my collection is where I really started putting methods to practice. I stole ideas/got advice from Ramp, Nutella the Hun, Bcarreon, & Jaybee pretty heavily. Props are placed in the 100s or more in order to manipulate AI behaviors and create replay-ability & add environmental storytelling.

Ramp's impression onto the community & my own mission style is immense! He was one of the first to really understand the basic behaviors of the AI and how a map/mission should be designed in order to effect the AI in the best possible way. Because of Ramp's scripts, I became almost obsessed with a way to create similar effects without using any scripting. I was largely unsuccessful, but still applied lessons learned to create illusions of deeply complex missions.

Nutella's style works heavily on the manipulation of AI line-of-sight using simple props, though used in precise abundance. Modded props like the dry trees work as amazing concealment & they cannot fall over which increases realism. The firing ports I use in all my trench missions was something I took directly from Nutella's 'Kaisershlacht'! Bcarreon's style heavily follows historical documentation & planning to create a realistic engagement. He was the first that I witnessed to use multiple objectives as a frontline and make it feel 'flexible', which interestingly even still to this day many people avoid this sort of mission design and believe it to be unfeasible.

Jaybee is a legend of storytelling and each mission of his goes 500% towards experiencing that exact *chaotic* moment in time. I've taken a lot of influence from his use of japanese machine gun bunkers within camoflaged positions - now I try to add cover/concealement to each of my mg nests or bunkers so that the attacker is disorientated when under fire. +jaybee made the artillery script used in nearly all my mission (MAD LAD)!
