The World of Aether's rarely had something so bizarre happen. All of a sudden, A portal manifested made of fragile, glowing stone built by the cubic meters, making a square outline four meters wide and five tall, complete with a blue, swirling vortex in the middle. Until recently, no-one was daring enough to venture through, or had nothing come out (If mostly because even as large a structure that was, it was still smack dab in the middle of nowhere).
Not long ago, someone crossed the border, coming from lands far away into a new world hardly familiar to them besides that it's a world of generally the same materials, for sure. Armed with nothing but a set of cheap wooden tools, a sword, and a pocket of spare dirt, oak planks and iron, the Farlander... Well, hard to say what comes next (Again, it was smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Who's keeping track?)

Steve rocks the block!

Steve is an unorthodox fighter in many regards. With their wide array of odd tools and gimmicks, Steve's damage, stage control and survival can come second to none given they have the right materials for the job. Moves tailored to counter their otherwise poor mobility and approach options, Steve needs to keep a steady supply of resources on hand, especially iron.
Steve can make the most of any opportunity they get, but if they're caught on the back foot, they don't have a lot they can do to make a come back, especially if their pockets run empty!

NSPECIAL is a whole different move by a crafting table, on the ground, or in the air. In the ground, NSPECIAL is Mine, where Steve constantly take materials out of the stage. Materials are VERY important for their toolkit, especially iron!

By a crafting table, NSPECIAL is Craft. Steve takes a second to use their most valuable resource to create a new set of tools, boosting his power! Tools have durability however, so remember to craft constantly, or they'll be left severely out-ranged!

In the air, NSPECIAL is Build. Within the boundaries of the stage, and a little over the ledge Steve can place a block freely, even in the air. Outside of these boundaries, Steve needs to connect blocks to adjacent ones, be it the stage or their own.

Parrying and pressing NSPECIAL at the same time uses some resources to spawn a crafting table in your vicinity, as it is a destructible block! It will respawn given you have the proper tools if it's broken, however.

TNT is an expensive trap laid on the floor, that constnatly ticks down until it is primed and just about to explode! It can take damage, where it can hop a little and blow up early.

While TNT is in play, Steve will instead try to place redstone to a nearby TNT, creating a fuse of variable length ending in a pressure plate! Careful about the plate, as anyone who steps on it will be locked in place while the TNT jumps and explodes.

Minecart requires a single piece of iron, but it's a powerful, if resource-consuming multipurpose move! Steve can't be knocked out of the minecart, but the minecart can be destroyed, and any enemy would want to! While Steve is in it, it's a good move to rack damage and bring someone across the stage, and if Steve's out of it, it's a powerful grab that traps a poor shmuck inside relative to their damage. If they're particularly unlucky, they can be sent flying off-screen to an early KO! Steve can jump out at any time.

Pressing B while they're in the minecart unleashes a powered variant, given Steve has gold and redstone at their disposal! Placing a powered rail, their minecart speeds up even faster, making it even more deadly as both a grab, and a finisher!

Elytra brings back Steve's gliding, where they can rotate and fly fast and free, making for an unpredictable movement arc across the air! Press B again to boost again!

While crafting, if Steve has no tools needed to replace or upgrade, Steve can craft themself some armor! Wiht armor Steve can be VERY aggressive, having passive knockback armor, super armor on their STRONG attacks and DAIR, and damage reduction all dependant on the tier of armor they have on! It sitll can break, however!

Instead of a Parry, if Steve has a shield in his toolkit, they'll brandish it out instead! Able to hold and crawl along with it out, Steve has a much more lenient time parrying attacks! It's not too durable, however.

Notable changes from the original / Smash iteration:
> New sprites.
> Added crawl, dash attack, DAIR, UAIR/UTILT, DTILT, and all STRONGs.
> More FX related to mining and inventory.
> Can move while charging FSTRONG, DSTRONG, and USTRONG.
> DSTRONG lava flows downward for much, much longer.
> Block limit removed and playable block space expanded
> Blocks take damage from anyone launched into them that couldn't tech.

TO DO:
> Add the rest of the spriteset
> Clean up the code.
> Tidy up current and upcoming sprites.
> Add tool/item sprites.
> Horrible gameplay decisions.

Noted. There's a few bugs I'm aware of, and have to fix up, hopefully I can tackle some egregious ones for the next patch

It will be soon. I have a plan for it, and possibly a few other items as a potential 'inventory-only' item you can get from say, brushing or trading, or even chests. because a free stock is ALREADY pretty strong, i feel it'd be at least more fair than getting it per kill, sacrificing either a stable workstation, any of the strong DTILTS, or any other practical taunt options.

It will not just be totems of undying though, i'm seeing about other items that might also work

When will it be added back?

I remember that the previous version had this prop with the "Totem of Immortality", and the prop selection in the elytra column is now gone

Not yet. It wont' be for a while, since the main issue is the stage hazard code, but it'll be out by the Farlander's completion. I hope it'll be interesting.
