Ok, I've figured it out. Immediately after choosing "Yes" you have to hold Enter/Z.

If I remember correctly, you can't slide much further the first days. Try from day 7.

Hey, how do you slide up to the rightmost roof? I keep falling off halfway. Same goes for the opposite side.
