Description
Annoyed how slow pilots and managers train?

Traders at traders corner will now sell manager and pilot seminars of all levels.
  • No randomness, always 250 seminars of each kind in stock.
  • Seminar prices have been increased, so skilled pilots remain a valuable "asset".
  • Seminar prices don't vary.
  • Seminars have been renamed so they are grouped together and sorted properly.
  • Works with existing saves.*
*Traders need to restock, which typically happens when you are far away from the station.


Play the game, not hours of annoying minigames the devs want you to play in order to get seminars, or hours of letting the pilots do nonsensical tasks in order to get the skill.

So far the stations I've visited in 8.0 all have the 250 seminars and the pricing is correct as well as the sorting.

I have to say, normaly it would take 5 minutes to find the change and update, but everything documented and made in x4 is a real slog. I'f I'd did things like that myself at work, I'd get crazy.

I have added version support to v7.60 and v8.00, tested both. Make sure you switch sector and fly to new station if you load the save near one, because stock need to reset.

Please give feedback if it works for you, the publish system especially the way how its documented with the x tools is really finicky.

The 8.0 beta seems to have broken this mod. Some seminars are at 250 but the 0-3 seminars are acting like the vanilla version. The CEO is sad.

Will this be updated for 7.5? The different traders I visit show 0 inventory.

The others as I have said are not part of the ware definition. So if you can add them probably via scripting the behavior if the game script API provides the possibility to change the skill level of NPC.

ah and by the way this mod cant be removed, the saves get greyed out.
