Latest update: Total overhaul of uniforms and headgear for both sides, updates to German vehicles.
Past Updates: updated to match historic weather report for date/location, improve uniforms, increase the number of tanks and tank wrecks, and improve balance for attackers in early phases. Updated to include new USSR assets, including SU-152. Updated German tank crew uniforms (and added a 4th tank crewman), and included new battle ambiance "music". Updated uniforms on German faction to maintain headgear (most recent update broke the CoD3 mod player models' ability to wear headgear), and included spotter-artillery stationary "vehicle" for Soviet use at the burning hamlet and the AA battery.

Operation Zitadel, the planned encirclement and destruction of the Soviet armies in the Kursk salient has not gone to plan. German advances have stalled in the face of a prepared and stubborn defense. Wonder-weapons like the new Tiger and Panther tanks are just as likely to blow their transmission and bake, abandoned in the hot summer sun, as they are to actually smash through the Russian lines. It's do or die, now. The fate of the Eastern Front is in your hands. Put yourself in the shoes of Soviet troops desperately trying to hold back an unstoppable steel inferno, or play as Axis forces (including German Waffen SS and Hungarian infantry) and slice through the communist defenses in the wheat fields like a sharpened scythe.

That seems to associate with the Dry Trees with Branches mod (see link in description). I re-uploaded the mission to see if that fixes things, and to make some minor adjustments. If that still doesn't fix it, I'd suggest redownloading that other workshop mod and see if that fixes things.

This mission just stopped working for me, been receiving this error

"Download Failed: AccessDenied - Workshop ID: 3051745893"

Tried deleting all other mods and fresh install this one, no luck :(

Hey Nutella, I just subscribed to this mission but it won't show up on Easy Red 2. Is there a problem with it right now?

I'll keep updating the mission from time to time. This mission, Verdun, and The Longest Day are my favorites - so I tend to update them whenever new assets get posted in the workshop!

It looks like Princeofpanzers updated the map itself, which made the spawn location for those guys underneath a prop. I've fixed their spawn, so that shouldn't happen anymore. Let me know if you find any other bugs.

Hi Nutella, the last objective, up the slope, there is an area, where a lot of Soviet troops spawn and seem to just stand there. they are easy pickings for my tank.

I just keep revisiting this mission, are there plans to continue on with this. It is just so good to play as a tanker and goes to show how immersive tanking in ER2 can be!

Maybe the IL-2 or Yak? Theres a mod that adds Red Air Force fighters like I-16, Yak 1 and LaGG 3. Also theres a Soviet recon plane that I'm drawing a blank on.
