Description
This is one of the tomes updated from the mod, Tomes of the Timberwood by Timber. He gave me ownership of all those tomes. You can find the rest that I updated here: Vectra's Age of Wonderful Tomes

About The Changes
Many changes were made, but they were vetted between myself and a few playtesters who wanted to voluntarily help me test things. With that being said, don't be afraid to share balancing issues, concerns, and of course, bugs. I believe I fixed all of them, but there were a lot of bugs when I first started, so it's possible I missed some.

Knight Justicar has lore written for them, complimentary to Unit Lore & Miscellany by Arca_Bibliophile. I, however, am using the purple research icon instead. You just hover over the purple research icon that appears below their stats.

UURB Compatibility
For those with Unique Unit Rank Bonuses, subscribe to Vectra's UURB Compatibility Master Mod for the Unique Unit Rank Bonuses for my custom units.

Ye, I want to try that combo eventually. Nice set up for Astra or even Blessed Soul.

You are completely correct, I'm just being a stinker. Thankfully, the new Vigil looks like an excellent candidate for Smite!

The design of the game seems to purposefully give new magic abilities only to Battlemages, and I agree with that design choice so Smite will continue to be a battlemage-only enchantment.

Hah, I was going to ask, then read below and saw supports not getting smite was intentional. Oh well, this tome almost seems prophetic in how well it plays with the new content! Still, would architects, chaplains, and oracles getting the active be so wrong? :steammocking:

looks really interesting, is this Tome compatible with the Giant Kings update?

@pansatyr1 No, there is a reason I made those changes

Thanks for taking on some of the old abandoned tomes. Would you be willing to release an updated version with the original Tome's mechanics, such as allowing the unit enchantment to affect support units, the knights to retain charge resistance, and the original values for the combat buff spell? If not I understand. Thankfully the original mostly still works except for the special province improvement.

I've been trying new games out and it's still the same. I apologize if I jumped the gun by commenting. I was just hoping to see if anyone else had the same issue. There are 2 mods I'm currently running, both having to do with culture customization. I haven't disabled either of them at this point because doing so will alter all of my created factions, and there are a lot that I don't want to have to go back and do it all over again, especially if it isn't the issue.

I appreciate all your hard work though and this mod is a MUST have, so thank you for that. Maybe one day when I have the time and I'm feeling extra productive I'll tackle this task.
