Description
Overview:
Unique Unit Rank Bonuses (UURB) aims to add unique Rank Up Bonuses for *all* units!
*(Only some Wildlife Units have their UURBs as of Version 5.3)*

At the moment, units have the same Rank-up bonuses, depending on which tier and type they are.
By adding unique rank-up bonuses to units, they will become more distinct from one another as they grow on the battlefield, allowing for many more different army compositions!
Players may be incentivized to keep lower tiered units around for longer too!

Highlights:
  • Unique Rank Up Bonuses for all Cultural and Tome units added at Veteran Rank and Champion Rank. (Over 250 in total!)
  • Evolved units start with the Veteran Rank Reward of their pre-evolution, making the transition more smooth!
  • New status effects such as Shocked, Frostbitten, Vitalized, and Panicked!


Future Major Updates:
  • Version 5.4: Eldritch Realms Compatibility Update - Estimated Release Date: June 21, 2024
  • Version 6.0: Eldritch Realms Units Update - Estimated Release Date: June 28, 2024

  • Along with hotfixes, balance passes, reworks, custom art / vfx passes, game patch updates, etc.

Mod Compatibility:

Partial Incompatibility with Culture Based Tome Units:
The new rank up bonuses don't show up for Tome units. Currently looking into this!

Any mods that do not change the same resources in the game files should be compatible!

Ugh...I had to hunt through my mods to figure out which one was doing the "You get a dragon, and you get a dragon, everyone gets a dragon!" thing. Really sad that it's this one, this was a great mod :(

Yeah i also saw all dragons draftable. not really fun or lore wise good. sad because it looked like an awesome mod.

Not sure if the mod still fully works, but it does come with a pretty big bug. It unlocks recruitment of all dragons for both the player and the AI. This means you should expect the AI to rock up with full stacks of dragons (which happened to me).

I don't own any of the DLC and this seems to work, at least it doesn't seem to crash my game

seems to be a dead mod as well. Which is fair, AoW is kinda a game that only has so much. The 'variability' lies in which specific cultures/units you use to do the exact same things with slightly different flavors. Unfortunate.

This mod is the cause of Bannerman feudal units not being mounted when they otherwise should, and also for the Knight unit not properly having t4, graceful charge, or slippery as intended with the Ogre update.

Hiho, i found out that this mod causes my high culture AI to sometimes get stuck in combat... i can only sit there and wait for "Waiting for combat" to end... but it won't

Damn it's a real shame that it broke with the latest update.
This is unable to be replaced when it comes to enhancing the combat in AOW4.

For anyone who is looking for the reason why high tier dragons show up as draftable in your cities after the latest DLC, this mod appears to be causing it. Disabling it should remove them. This was a pretty neat mod, so hopefully the author will consider updating it to fix this issue even if no new content is added. If not, it was fun while it lasted, and I suppose the mod may still be usable if you don't mind lots of dragons flying around in the lategame.
