PSA to idiots like myself: These staircases mirror like everything else with "F"

@justQuackers as this is a Codeless mod i only have access to stuff that is in base game and my custom models.

This means that i can not have one item unlock other items. And i do not want it to be unlocked from the start.
And a seperate building you place will need to take up space to be able to build else it crashes!

Also, could the dirt pattern be removed? Looks sort of strange with it sitting in the air like that.

Why does the stair pillar cost anything to research? If you research the staircase the stair pillar should be a freebie. Also, why have it as a collision object instead of a cover object like it is on the staircase? It should either function as a support for the staircase or just hide the lower supports below where the stair starts. If it functioned with the staircase then I could see it costing research. The mod is great, have been using the curved stairs for years.

(Still plank and no plan to change it atm)

yeah I have to agree with @krixt about the planks, IMO need to revert back to logs. Makes zero sense that simple posts cost planks to build.

hmm Krixt will have to think about it.
Know that pillars can be used instead of platforms that cost planks so it was a cheaper platform that cost no planks, this was why prices was changed to planks and increased.
But I may need to lower the plank cost some.

100% disagree with recent 7.0.0 changes. Everything now costs planks. "Look" at the items you are making. All of the pillars items are simply posts/logs in the ground. These are not planks in the ground, and they come with no top ledge either. Spiral staircase is now more expensive than vanilla stairs, and even more expensive when you factor in platforms for building more than 1 level. "Pillar + Pillar Platform" now costs more (+1 plank & +1 wood) than vanilla platform. These unnecessary cost increases completely negate this mod now. Please reconsider these cost changes to fit more thematically with what you are actually building. Logs in the ground should just cost logs.

I assumed it was your mod because it was the only one updated recently but it was not, everything is ok and that is great as this mod is great!
