Description
The easy mode
This could be called an easy-mode notmod. It does limit some mod added enemies to their sitreps or limit where they can appear. It does not change any force level appearances though. This way you can enter missions definetly better prepared, in that regard it makes the game into a cakewalk. Otoh you might lack some specific corpses/items because the enemies are rarer.

Almost all changes are in the config file XComAdvancedSpawnModifier.ini if you want to adjust it.

This mod provides extensive control over enemy spawns in XCOM 2, allowing for fine-tuned adjustments to which units appear in different mission types. It removes or modifies spawn weights for a wide variety of enemy types—including those from popular mods like Bio Division, Frost Legion, HIVE, Spectrum, and more—to create a more balanced or thematically appropriate experience.

Key Features:
  • Custom Spawn Collections – Predefined spawn lists (e.g., SKV_DefaultNoTerror, SKV_AdventOnly) to control unit distribution.
  • Selective Enemy Removal – Blocks many stronger units from appearing in standard missions.
  • Force Level Adjustments – Fine-tunes when certain enemies appear in the campaign (e.g., delaying Assault Troopers until later tiers).
  • Compatibility-Friendly – Works alongside other enemy mods without conflicts (unless they modify the same spawn lists).

Example Adjustments:
  • Removes Bio Division units from standard missions.
  • Excludes Frost Legion enemies unless explicitly allowed.
  • Blocks HIVE Chryssalid variants from non-HIVE missions.
  • Delays Advent Assault troopers to appropriate force levels.

Customization:
Users can easily modify the .ini file to:
  • Add/remove enemies from specific spawn lists.
  • Adjust spawn weights for rarity control.
  • Set force level restrictions to prevent early-game overpowered units.

Recommended for:
Players who want a more controlled enemy variety or need to balance heavily modded playthroughs.

Note:

This mod does not add new enemies—it only modifies existing spawn behavior. Adjust the included .ini to suit your preferences.

I added you cause im hoping you can help me out. I am trying to start up my game but it crashes. The AML log shows this: [0075.08] DarkXCom: DArk XCOM: building chips and blueprint
[0075.43] ScriptLog: MFSC: Patching schematics <---- what is this?
[0075.98] Log: Crash Detected: Dumping
I thought it might be [WOTC] Multiple Sitreps 2.0: Guaranteed & Categories or Multiple Faction Soldier Classes but ive removed them both just to test it and still get the error. (also tried it without MOCX)

Stukov81-T.TV: If it's any consolation regarding ratings, just ignore them. Most people use ratings solely for their own views, as a personal keep track. Far better to focus on your community and those asking questions directly, than worry about silent masses.
